Python and Java API / get the value of band 1 of an orthomosaic

Hi,

Does someone know how to get the value of band 1 of an orthomosaic, at a known position ?
I did not find the function to get the value of a band.

We really need theses features with Agisoft, Viewer and Cloud.
Displaying data is an important part that should be improved.

More our customers will be able to view datas, more they will be able to use datas and then we will have more job and the need of photogrammetry will increase as well.

and it would be nice to :
- reduce the delay of calculation of profile.
- create profile windows in another TAB/SCREEN
- be able to move the profile section perpendicular by clicking on the keyboard arrows, in order to inspect next section easly and quickly.
- to vizualize shapes in the profile view if there are shapes in the section.
- to extend/reduce the initial profile line by playing with zoom into the profile view.
- having tool to easly/quickly measure slope and lenght in the profile view (that will help to design the classification rules % )

By reading your answer I realized my question was not clear 

if exposure of the image changes with the same  DLS value but with a different exposure camera setting (iso, shutter, aperture), will the radiometric value be the same?
the real example is : On 2 same images (same scene and same sunlight), if there is a different exposure camera setting (iso, shutter, aperture), will the radiometric value be the same? (if there is no DLS).

The point of the question is to better understand the best workflow I should use.
Should I use camera exposure setting in AUTO or should I keep the exact same camera exposure setting and stay in MANUAL:
- in case I use camera with DLS ?
- in case I use camera without DLS ?

in case of multispectral processing, does the camera settings that affect exposure (iso, shutterspeed, aperture) are taken into account during calucation of radiometric value ?
- in case of using DLS ?
- in case of not using DLS ? example : if exposure of the image changes with the same  DLS value but with a different exposure camera setting (iso, shutter, aperture), will the radiometric value be the same?
- in case of using DLS + calibration mire ?

Does it depend of the camera used?

Hi,

The DEM editing introduced in Metashape 2.0 is a start but it is limited to only one product (DEM), could it be extended to the 3D Mesh ?

I also vote for this feature, it would be super usefull ! (also for tiled mesh)

Feature Requests / 3D view for DEM (with color palette)

At the moment, DEM view is a 2D view.
Since we can edit DEM, it would be very usefull to add as option, a 3D view to use this raster as 2,5D (some other brand software in which we can edit DEM has this feature, and this is very usefull).

We are now designing the secure solution for cooperative work on the projects. It is still hard to estimate the release date, but we will share any update on the matter.

Will we be able to use an iframe or something else in order to host the webapp ? because this is the point.

As we mentioned before, this functionality is not planned because the link to the project is in the web page source and thus embedded projects can be accessed by anyone, which is insecure.

- if only vector are editable
- if the iframe edit link can be activate / desactivate by admin (Agisoft customer)
- if the iframe edit link is composed by a random numbering

then the risky is really small, and the usage very simple for such cases (90% or cases?)

Hey,
I know I already asked for this feature, but this point is very important, and is a big lack at the moment in our process.
My customer would like to edit vectors  and  save changes using iframe

The risky is very low : vector doesn't have big impact into the online project.
Still no plan? :-(

it would be quite easy: adding a third kind of iframe that enable vector edit.

- API : need to be able to get data of vector by clicking on vector ==> should be free for a certain amount of request and we could pay for more usage requests.
- role in embeded link : user need to be able to save his shape
- role : account admin should be able to give role, access, display/hide layer for users/roles
- import / export DXF
- display shape in picture (in inspection feature)
- orientation azimuth of polyline
- 3D area measurement
- 3D volume calculation
- editing / renaming projects
- color palette for DEM
- AI analyzing/counting processing (plant, PV, car, etc.)  : could be charged like other processing (per month)
- drawing : snap on vertex/ detect plane surface by using parameters like "tolerence" for quick draw
- presentation : add photo, html into the presentation slides windows

Hi,
I m also interested to the answer.
From my experience, tile model is the longest processing of metashape , about 10  times longer than densecloud or model.

I also noticed than during the processing, the hard drive where the project is located need free space.  From my experience  a project file of 100go can use 600go during processing , depending of the steps : the space is free at the end of the stepw but it would crash during processing if you do not have enough space.
So in your case I would use Raid NVME 2x 4to in order to use a fast 8to hardisk (or maybe more) , dedicated for the project you are processing.

You can also build a computer without external  graphic card, with raid nvme card + 10g network, in order in order to dedicate pci express to nvme raid card, to build a raid with a lot of nmve harddisk used at max speed.

Hi,

Would be nice to also be able to delete some file imported from agisoft : I realized I imported tie point by mistake, and now the tie point (useless) is loaded. What can I do to remove it? start to load again the project and publish again? It took almost 24h to publish tiled model of 15go.... so, start again from scratch is a bit boring :-(
but maybe there is another simpler way to manage this kind of case?

Another case is: since I uploaded my tiled model and photos, I aligned few more photos into desktop project. I would like to import this new photos into the cloud project (already published) in order to use them with inspection feature : is there a way to do it ?

About inspection : we would need to be able to annotate some picture and display them into the pdf report and a csv file (export).

About shape : would be nice to display shape into inspection photos, and match some picture to the shape in order to show into the PDF report both 3D view (selected for the shape) and also the picture with the shape (selected for this shape) display on it.

About embed : it would be nice to give an access to ONLY shape editing from a embed ==> I understand that editing a whole project can be dangerous, but ONLY shape seems to be ok.
Also, the best thing would be to give the hand to the admin to decide to lock or unlock some layers in order to allow or not allow others users to edit. and also the ability to hide or to display a layer / file for others users.

About orientation : it usefull for roof inspection : the rule could be to find the orientation between 2 lasts vertex.

About processing priority : it took almost 24h to publish a tiled model 15go : would be nice to have a priority processing for guys using Agisoft licence : we could enter in our cloud account our licence key in order to get the priority.

About orthomosaic: do you plan to let us import lighter format like jpg2000 ? would be more efficient.

About rasters : would be nice to have an option to add a date to a raster, in order to display (using a timeline/ sidebar) a specific raster depending of its date, in order to compare BEFORE/AFTER (for orthomosaic, DEM, but could also be usefull for shape and tiled model)

About presentation : would be nice to let us write description in html in order to style our presentation and to display pictures.
