Agisoft Cloud / Re: Calculate Volume using two DEMs (DEM difference)
« on: November 22, 2024, 12:01:59 AM »
I need this feature for monitoring excavation or filling activities at dam sites between two or more DEM. Visual representation would be preferred, but if that's not possible, numerical results showing cut and fill volumes will suffice.

This should be the must have feature (feature requirest)

please see the attached images.

THIS IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO ACHIEVE.

The survey area has large vegetation (dense trees).
After dense point cloud generation, I've deleted the vegetation area from the dense point cloud.
Now there is a large area without any point, we have covered that vegetation area with survey points (N,E,Z).
Now I want to use these survey points (acquired by GNSS) as a dense cloud in the empty area.

i've checked a .obj file's structure it was like this

v 337258.7391 3709390.463 517.4302

So I've created a txt file, put all points in this format, and changed its file extension with .obj.

and have imported this .obj file in Agisoft.

but noticed that they have a little bit misplaced by comparing them with the same points loaded as reference.

also if I export this obj and import it again with the same setting they change their location.

I've updated the software, and now its working,
thanks for reply

Bug Reports / dense cloude obj is not in its place
« on: December 11, 2021, 11:54:12 AM »
I have point x y z location in UTM zone 43N

when I import them as .obj file they go to a different location as compared to when imported as references.

also when I import obj file and export it without any changes they change their location by about 1.5 meter.

Please guide ASAP

dense cloud classification is gone when we merge chunk, please make this option available.

General / Get more accuracy by using Survey Points
« on: September 29, 2021, 03:32:01 PM »
As a surveyor, I want a more accurate DEM and 3d model,

In standard workflow when we use GCPs, we get a georeferenced and accurate point cloud.

after this, Is there an option to load survey points (topo points with x,y,z value but not marked on the ground like GCPs)

and then recalculate by considering these points X and Y values as it is, and just use vertical Z elevation to get a more accurate point cloud.

If it is possible then please guide me.

General / Orthomosaic is heavy (Even on high performance pc)
« on: April 30, 2021, 03:32:38 AM »
I have exported the orthmosaic in kmz file with 256x256 tiles, 3 cm GSD, When i open and view orthomosaic in google earth or other GIS package, it takes so heavy and slow down pc (Ryzen 5 3600 with 32 gb ram and GTX 1070 8gb) or on laptop i7 with 16 gb of ram
is there any option for jpg compression when exported orthomosaic KMZ.

what i have tried so far

Exported tiff with JPEG quality 50 (file was so lite works smoothly in arcgis without generating pyramids)
Imported again (low quality tiff) in agisoft and exported as KMZ orthomosaic
It again saved a heavy orthomosaic. Even 3d model of the same project wroks smoothly.

guide please

Really thanks for help it really worked very well  ;D but in only case of one room. :(
i've processed multiple rooms in one scene and rooms in generated model are not align correctly, its too far from the reality,

please guide

General / Upload orthomosaic to WMS
« on: October 12, 2019, 12:18:14 AM »
i've created orthomosaic of very large area (4000 Acres),  Now i have to import it in Autocad Civil 3d , Geo tiff file is heavey and can not be loaded, split in blocks is not a suitable
but autocad civil 3d imports large maps through Web Map Service (WMS)
how i can convert my orthomosiac (.kmz, google map tile , MB tiles etc) in a WMS fromat and can use it locally without uploading to internet.
