Hello. when i view the model  to check it proper aligment sometimes i use show images mode to check what went wrong. when i turn around the model  i can fast find wrong image that directly shows me that somthing went wrong. my problem is that i cant find out what is the number/label/name of that wrong photo. i think that in previous versions  of metashape above showed image was also the label but not sure...
anyway is there a way to check what is the label the picture that is showed in "show images" mode? thx in advance

thx for the reply, and how to do the process of transfering texture? because this options is grayout.. cant use it ( simply dont know how). (ghost filtering doesn't work well in my case unfortunatly) doest transfering texture works like.. "baking" the texture from org. model to new one that is modified, or simply cleaned from unnecesery mesh?

EDIT:ok manage to do that, great thx it works really good. it realy works like baking.. sad that only normal occ and basecolor, otherwise it wolud replace other software for baking process :)
ps. eventually can u explain to me why alpha map isint saved when exporting texture? i tryed with png file but theres no alpachannel

i have discovered that i can project texture using udims ( couple 32k textures) to have beter resolution on all scanned area. I can then cut out part of that scanned model export it with udims, import to any other software , do retopology, simplify and create proper UV..  But can anyone help me in what software i can bake base color from original part ( the one i have cut out) that has udims , into single tile uv of the new low poly model ( low or simplyfied model).? i can import that low poly model into methashape and project new texture because like mentioned previously in generates errors.

Hi i got such issue,  i clean mesh from unnecesery elements, obstacles or simply parts that had not enough data. When i start to generate texture on that mesh i got errors. parts of mesh that doesn't exist anymore cant "take" projection from cameras and photos overlay each other on nearrest geometry ... texture look blurry, no details streched etc. checked it couple times and it is because i removed some geometry from org model. How to avoid it? is there a way do project texture on part of the mesh properly? the problem occurs also when i clean mesh in other software to get better uv, split the mesh and try to projection texture on each part to get better resolution. i was avoiding it by creating very small uv island for uncesery geometry so most of the uv island was covered  by proper part of mesh, and after generating texture i was removing that thiny uv of the unnecesery mesh with the mesh.. But it generates more work then it should. IS there any solution?

i have  done it in 1.5.59057 version? i dont know if i need densce cloud, i just need a model :D. not sure if i know where to change that setting u are mentioning:) but when i have a model which comes out like this one ( not every one comes, simpler model are mostly 99% fine, but those more complex comes mostly like this) it sloooowsthe proccess very much already . on i9 9900k and 64gb it goes  about 10-14h... to get dense cloud and about 3h to get camera aling. i did many photos.. about 600 only because  some trees are  "flat" no special points on bark and many tiems it makes it hard for agi to aling it and a mess comes out.

Hi. im having such problems from time to time, while scaning trunks. Cant figure out what im doing wrong. Maybe sombody had such problems. i dont know if its a bug or some data error that make agi to do such thinkgs. Model looks good. All i do is lens corectionto photos. Without it agi  cant  aling photos. photos taken on sony alpha, tele 100m F.8.
