General / Google Earth for GCP no geotag photos
« on: April 27, 2017, 10:57:08 PM »
I have built a model based on non geotagged photos. How do I use coordinate data from Google Earth for GCP information and what should I place in the altitude field? I want to build a dem but do not want my model to be upside down. Can I build the model then place GCP's?

Thanks for tips on workflow!

Bug Reports / Export Texture Mess
« on: May 30, 2015, 02:32:52 AM »
When I try to export my texture it creates a complete mess. I am using the most current version of Agisoft Standard and trying to export the texture as a tiff or jpeg. The texture is perfect in agisoft.  I am also wondering why agisoft creates my model upside down. IE the photos are underneath the created model and I have to use the trackball to rotate the model to see the photos and model from a top view.

General / Texture export Agisoft Standard

I am having problems exporting texture in the different image formats. The image below shows the problems I am having with JPG, TIG and PNG as compared to a screen capture of the model. I am needing to export the highest resolution of the texture that I can to support model scaling in ACAD.

General / UAV - GOPRO workflow
« on: September 17, 2013, 05:48:04 PM »
I have been using a small quadcopter with a Hero 3 silver GoPro. I set the image capture from the wide frame to the narrow to reduce some of the fisheye effect on the photo margins but still think my results may be affected by some edge distortion in the photos.

Has anyone put together a good workflow using a gopro from an aerial platform and are you using agisoft lens to calibrate the camera? If so do you have settings already developed for the gopro?

If someone has a workflow process I would appreciate it. I am trying to map some different habitat features in a stream form the UAV.

General / Inverted surface model
« on: September 01, 2013, 01:34:01 AM »
I am exporting the model as a DXF file. When I open it other software the surface is inverted. ie the high elevations are shown as lows. If I develop a point cloud of a hill, it exports as a depression.
