For those following my progress with the single camera rig, i'm getting the Saban-scanner automatic 3d photogrammetry scanner all dialed in! Raw agisoft model, still need to lengthen the wires to heighten the camera so I can get the top of the head. Happy with the capture of the hair though.

Face and Body Scanning / Nikon 5000 series trigger system
« on: April 10, 2015, 12:57:34 AM »
Hi guys,

Been searching the forum for a good Nikon 5000 series multi cam trigger system. I really liked breeze systems but that only seems to be for Cannon  >:( Is there a equal for my Nikons?

Face and Body Scanning / First full head scan
« on: May 16, 2014, 05:00:20 AM »
So I did my first full head scan, all in all it came out amazing for one camera. The only parts I has an issue with is the back of the head and the top of the head (But I'll work on that) Any tips or tricks would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
B.

Face and Body Scanning / Lens Question
« on: May 09, 2014, 04:00:48 AM »
I'm using a Nikon D5300 and debating on the best lens to use. I hear some say the Nikkor 35mm f1.8 DX and some say the Nikkor 50mm f1.8 DX. Which is a better choice for single camera head scanning or is there a better option.

General / Quick newbie question
« on: April 27, 2014, 03:58:02 AM »
About to start delving into head scanning with Agisoft and I notice I always see people using bald caps. Is it not possible to scan head hair? I should mention I'm only using it for 3d printing and not texturing.
