General / Orthophotos have problems at the edges
« on: May 30, 2011, 05:07:37 PM »
I found problems in the generation of orthophotos when the pictures have black border, and that in making the fusion of these edges are merged into the mosaic.  as simple to solve this problem is to add an option to not use a percentage of the edges of the photos, for example 5% of the area of the photo.  This will no longer be the edges in the fusion.

It is also important for experienced users to add the option to create individual orthophotos, as there are sophisticated applications for the fusion of the mosaic.

General / Workflow Using camera positioning coordinates centers
« on: April 14, 2011, 03:31:21 PM »
Hi Dmitry Semyonov,

I do a test with pictures that have known coordinates centers picture, ie <x> <y>, <z>, as I can make the workflow?.

I'm reading the manual but no examples and is not very clear, just found this:

"PhotoScan supports setting a coordinate system based on either ground control point coordinates or camera coordinates. In both cases the coordinates need to be specified in an external file......

Using camera positioning data for georeferencing the model is faster as manual marker placement is not required. On the other hand, ground control point coordinates are usually more accurate then telemetry data, allowing a more precise georeferencing."

Thank you very much for your attention.  ;)

Best Regards,

Diego

You can create another way to export the camera positions?
Export camera positions so photogrammetric formats: X, Y, Z, and Omega, Phi, Kappa. I wish I could upload the data processing in a photogrammetric software for stereoscopic observation points
