Face and Body Scanning / Blendshapes alignment
« on: November 04, 2016, 06:35:22 PM »
Hi Guys,

i am doing some blendshapes tests with my 20 dslr face setup, and i have a question for you experts... how do i align my , lets say, 20 blendshapes inside Photoscan?

what i want is a method to keep my scans aligned inside photoscan to reproject textures after the clean up process in zbrush... i could align then inside Wrap 3, but if i do that i wont be able to reproject my photos in my new mesh / uv....

i have tried the scripts of IR ( http://www.triplegangers.com/index.php/blog/cat/technology/post/photoscan-scripts/)
and its a good starting point, but i couldnt copy the alignment from one (master) head to the others...

any help here?

thanks

Face and Body Scanning / Setup for face scan
« on: September 11, 2014, 08:13:20 PM »
Hi Guys,
I am planing to setup a face scan system here in Brazil, the main goal is vfx and television(realtime like in games).
I would like to start with 16 canon T5i with the canon ef 50mm 1.4 lens, and then start to add more cameras as necessary.
what i would like to hear from you is :

1- is the canon t5i a good choice?
2-what about the kit 18-55mm lens that come with the cam? is it a good start point? i want to use the lens canon ef 50mm 1.4 prime as the recomendations but will depend of the budget size.
3- what kind of hardware for the usb hubs and triggers? for the trigger i am planing to use the NDC relay controller for the 16 cams...
4-for the cameras control i will use the smartshooter, the documentation says that is possible to fire mult cams using the software, has someone tried it?
5- Do i really need the PRO version of PS? i mean, to me the standard version seems to work fine for my goal.

by the way, i am a 3d artist, character modeling. and if you guys wants to know my work you can go in my gallery http://www.artstation.com/artist/wesclei there are some personal works .

i really appreciate your help here , thanks.
