General / Comparison between different versions of Metashape (v1.6.4 - v1.7.0 - v1.7.1)

I did this test after reading Andreas1206's post (https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=13066.0)
I have tested the same set of images in different versions of Metashape (v1.6.4 - v1.7.0 - v1.7.1).
I used the same alignment from v1.7.0 and generated the mesh in the different versions using the same settings:
Source Data: Depth Maps
Quality: Ultra High
Face Count: High
Depth Filtering: Mild

The results are truly different.
Version 1.7.1 (the faster than the other versions) seems to be the worst in this case.
Do you also have these problems with the latest version?

General / What am I doing wrong? coins photogrammetry

Hello everyone.
I'm doing some tests with the Macro lens and I'm trying to reconstruct some coins
I'm trying to figure out how to do this type of reconstruction because I will have to do some reconstructions of ancient coins for a museum.
I have been involved in photogrammetry for some years but never with such thin subjects and surfaces.
I approached the object as if it were a wall, it seemed the most logical thing to do, but the results are really strange
Metashape doesn't give me back the thickness but it does the exact opposite.

To take the images I used a Sony a7R3 with the Canon 100mm IS 2.8 and the "Super 35mm / APS-C" mode.

What am I doing wrong?

General / Texture problem

Hi guys, I need help.
I have this problem when I create a texture for high poly but it doesn't happen for the decimated mesh.
What can it be? How can I solve it?
I need the high poly for baking normals and texture.
Any help is appreciated!!!

Bug Reports / Standard edition 1.1.0 align stage crash

Hi,
I have installed Photoscan 1.1.0 2004.
When i try to align more then 7/10 images Photoscan crashes during "Estimate Camera Location" phase.
Does not matter if i use high, medium or low settings.
The same set of images work fine with older 1.0.4 version.
How can i solve?

My system:
Windows 7, i7-2600k, nvidia gtx780
photoscan standard edition

p.s.: i have attached 2 log files. 1 for the 7images set that works fine and another with the whole set crash
