Anyone having an issue with markers and the new update.

When I go to manually move markers after doing this on 5-6 photos I am unable to select markers on the remaining photos without closing down the file and opening it back up again.

Hi

Has anyone had any experience or advice on how to provide the 3D point cloud environment to external sources.

The quality and ease in which you can view and explore within Agisoft is second to none, however we would like to provide this product to our clients to they can view the same data.

General / Tiled Model & Textured Model

I have been successful in creating a scaled point cloud from aerial and terrestrial photos of a building which I have imported into our CAD program. However we would like to import the Tiled or Textured model.

Is this possible and if anyone has any advice Id be greatly appreciated

General / Using Two Cameras

I am looking for any advice or tips on creating a model using two different Cameras.

WE have flown a site/house with our UAV taking Geo tagged photos, We have alos walked around the property taking photos with our handheld camera which does not Geo tagged photos. I seem to be having a problem aligning and building a model.


Is is possible or has anyone had success in using Agisoft to complete this task? Id like to have the two data sets together to create a clear model of a house we require a point cloud for

Any advice/tips or info is greatly appreciated.

General / Error opening file (Read Only)

Agisoft crashed and is now not open on my PC but when I try to open my working file and error pops up saying the project is only available to open in read only because it is was not closed properly?

Can someone assist in opening/locating the correct file

General / Best Workflow (To edit/draft)

Hi There,

We have been very successful creating a 3D model using Photo scan (see attached)

We are looking to determine the best workflow however to draft, edit and prepare townplanning drawings on the produced data.

Can anyone recommend the best workflow to import the point cloud or (preferably) the textured or tiled model into CAD.

We currently have been able to do so into AutoCAD through by using RECAP however we feel we lose quality in the visual data.

General / Exporting Points to CAD

Hi

Has anyone great sucess importing an Agisoft Point Cloud to CAD

We have been able to import this to AutoCAD at scale and on a co-ordinate base, but have noticed the quality diminishes when importing.

If anyone has any tips they can provide we would be greatly appreciative as we would like to provide our clients with a CAD based cloud

General / Building Photos

Hi There,

We are in the process of creating 3D models of buildings for our designers. We are having great success importing photos taken with our DJI Phantom 3 into Agisoft to create a model (see attached screenshot). We would however like to tighten this up by taking photos on the ground around the building to improve our overall product. We have been just holding the UAV and walking around the perimeter of the building to take photos. We would like to either purchase another camera that will work in conjuction with our UAV and/or gain any advice on how to improve our model to remove holes and noise around the building.

Can any help or provide any further suggestion

Agisoft Viewer / Agisoft Viewer

Hi All,

I am a novice when it comes to Agisoft. Our process is to fly our Phantom 3 Advanced around buildings to create a 3D model for our designers that can be input into Revit or CAD which we have successfully been able to reduce.

Is there a viewer available that we can send to our clients so they can view the Agisoft model in its environment rather than having to reduce and process the whole dataset?

General / Agisoft - Revit/CAD - Smooth Tiled Mode

Hi

I have been successful in importing a point cloud/3d face to a coordinate base into Revit & CAD.

However we are hoping to also import the 3D tiled mode (smooth) into the same programs but appear to be coming up short in doing so. Is there any tips or tricks to do so as the clarity of the 3D tiled mode would be perfect to send to our architects with the 3D face overlaid in CAD format

Hi There

I have been successful in creating and processing a 3D model of a small building in Agisoft using approx 200 photos (nadir/oblique/terrestrial). We now are looking for the best method to import this into a CAD based program so we can add and edit the data we have collected. Can anyone suggest a method or program to best use to export this data to CAD, we are able to export the 3D faces and points but we are hoping to export a 3D model (colored) like the one produced in Agisoft to CAD, not even sure if this is possible?

Any help/advice would be great, I have attaced a PDF of the model we have produced

Can anyone recommend an App for iOS that will fly automated circular missions to take the risk our of flying around buildings manually providing a clear and consistent model

General / Photo Sizing

Agisoft beginner so please go easy on me

I have run a flyover parklands with my DJI Phantom 3 advanced and produced approx 110 photos to process. These photos are all approc 4000-5000kbs each. Is it worth or does it affect the output if I were to reduce these photos in sixe to 1000kbs?

General / 3D Models - Buildings

Hi There

I am relatively new to Agisoft and its processes so I was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction to a tutorial if there is one available.

We are a surveying firm who are looking to create 3D models of houses/buildings. How we are obtaining this information is with a Phantom 3 Advanced UAV to pick up a series of photos from the air and a Ricoh camera suggested by our suppliers that logs GPS points to take a number of terrestrial photos to finalise the model from the ground

The process to create this series of photos was used by first running a Grid pattern with the camera angle at 90 degree (nadir), secondly we ran a grid pattern around the building at 45 degrees, then using the Ricoh camera to finish.

I have had no problem importing the photos from the UAV into Agisoft which creates a smooth clear model of the data we require, I am however having trouble importing the terrestrial photos, there appears to be a lot of noise in these photos, is there a different method to importing these photos, or has anyone available a tutorial or advice on how to combat this.

We also would like to then merge the two sets of data (both aerial and ground) together to create a clear scale model. Is this possible and is there available any documentation that may be able to assist.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
