Is it possible with the DEM to make a Sunshine calculation based on DEM?

General / Hughe issues to align pictures

Im wondering why Im having such issues on this project.
I know that scanning forests is not that easy, but I never had any issues before. I made an altitude terrain following scan with about 1500 pictures. But each time I try to alighn, Agisoft is messing it up completely.
I already updated to latest release, but still not lucky. Also the viewport on this new version is really slow. I need always to click on rest viewport to see again where my cameras are.
I tried with low quality, high quality.... nothing works.
Steps:
1. Flight was 2 tracks in about 60m over terrain, terrain following mode activated (terrain has about 300m of altitude differences)
2. All pictures have a quality more than 0,75 and are generated from sharp DNGs.
3. Cameras are calibrated with Rolling shutter
4. Alignment by source, reference, 40k 4k, adaptive yes (now Im trying sequential)
see attachment of source images position. They are perfectly aligned from GPS coordinates before Agisoft touches them

General / Online app to share ortho & marker

Im wondering if there is any solution to share georef orthomosaics togheter with markers in a simple app like google mymaps or similar.
I need to share some data with clients in a really simple way and cannot find any real good working solution.
Do you have any idea, how do you manage date?

General / Export points or DEM within some altitute values

Is it possible to export DEM & point clouds between some altitue values, like between 513 & 518m altitude from coordinate system?
Or can the boundary box from the region be set to some values?

General / Inner boundary for lakes

I have a small lake within a survey area. I used poligon draw in Orthomosaic to shape the lake according to the water line. I know the altitude of the lake.
Now is it possible to modify the altitueds of each polygon plane according to the lake real survey (and not the dense point cloud altitude created by wrong pixels in the lake surface)?
Also is it possible to calculate volumes with a lake inside by defining it as a inner boundary? What happenes with the hole inside. Will it be seen as a cutting plane?

General / Depth Maps understanding

Can someone explain to me, what is the exact use of Depht Maps? Beocuse under preferences I can say to keep them.
Now my computer crashed while creating the Dense Cloud, but strangely it kept the Dept Maps. But is this Dept Map not even used for the Mesh?
Becouse my normal process is:
1 Align
2 Optimize
3 Build Dense Cloud (but I didnt know its genertaing depht maps as well)
4 Build DEM based on Dense
5 Build Ortho based on DEM
6 Build Mesh based on Depth
But if in Step 3 generating Dense Cloud I don't keep the Depht Maps, does it mean that the Sept 6 building Mesh restarts the entire Build Depth Map process again? If I keep the Depht Map, will the Mesh Model be much faster?

General / DEM overlay to model

Is it possible, instead of using the texture generated by Agisoft, overlay to the 3D model the DEM color palette? Becouse I have a very interesting alpine mapping that I would like to share to the client in DEM palette overlay mode via Sketchfab.

General / Shapes made in DEM not retroprojected to Dense Cloud & Mesh

To create a Shape as Outer Border I normally do it in DEM view, becouse there I can see where I have the most artefacts that need to be cut off in the outer area.
Unfortunately, when made in DEM view the shape is only visible in the Orthofoto, but not in the Dense Cloud & Mesh View.
It would be good becouse especially for OBJ export for clients I normally clean the outer boarder manually to avoid any strange artefacts.

Dear Alexey
In batch processing mode under Generate Model by Depht Maps there can be the faces adjustet. What does this mean, becouse in the standard interface of Model calculation, even selecting depht maps this feature is not available.
Is this an automatic mesh reducer to fit the number I have inserted?

General / How to share tiled orthomosaic on the web & embed?

Im wondering if someone has a good workflow to share hihres Orthomosaics on the Web... Dronedeploy does it very well, but than you need to do all the processing in the cloud.
Is there any other alternative or can someone tell me his workflow?
If we could have a cleen layout like sketchfab I would be happy.

General / Mouse 3rd button support

Dear Alexey
Im wondering if we could add 3rd mouse button support to Agisoft. It is so a pain to move the 3d models in the space by clicking on the navigation button. If we could add 3rd mouse, that would be awesome. And maybe in the preferences menu add the ability to chose wich mouse button does wich function.
What do you think of this idea?

General / Built Texture size, whats better?

Im wondering if its better to have bigger texture size and less textures, or have smaller texture but higher quantities? Is texture calculated on CPU or GPU?

Dear Agisoft users
Im wondering if someone here has an expertise in flood simulations done with Agisoft Output. I refer to large area fotogrammetric scanning of 1-2 km² and DEM creation. I have done some experiments in Blender, but the fluid calculation when importing a 3D model from Agisoft (STL format) is so slow that it probably takes 20 days becouse of the high poligon amount.
If someone has any idea how to improve this or using other programs, I would be very happy.

General / Mesh Vertex Colors

Im wondering, and unfortunately in manual there is no documentation, what the option calculate vertex colors will do? Does it take more computing power? Does the model looks better? does it make sense to use this option? I'm not used in this stuff so I would be happy for any help

General / OBJ export only local coordinates

Looks like OBJ export works only with local coordinates. If you export with WGS84 it creates a shifted model in top view and only one line in side & perspective view.
Don't know if this is a bug, but maybe it could be fixed.
