General / CLI Launch, etc.

Hi,
I have the following questions:
1) Can I launch Photoscan from the Windows Terminal using a Shell command and passing various parameters (or at least a script file name)? This is a useful feature for automating certain workflows.

2) Under "Tools" menu, there is "Export Matches". What are these Matches? Where do I get information about the exact data format of the 3 file formats (ORIMA, BINGO, PATB) supported here?

3) Is it possible to export the result of "Align Photo" stage?

Python and Java API / Can I access model elements in the script?
« on: August 16, 2016, 06:12:45 AM »
Hi,
After model generation is complete, can I access the detailed elements of a model from python script? For example, extract the various entities of Dense Point Cloud or the Tiled Model? What about measuring length, area and volume of specific elements of the generated model - is this possible from the script?

General / Questions from a newbie
« on: August 11, 2016, 06:02:24 PM »
Hi,
I have just started evaluating PhotoScan and I am very impressed with what it has to offer. There a few questions:
1) The workflow consists of several discrete steps such as (1) Align Photos (2) Build Dense Cloud (3) Build Mesh, and so on. If I have a large number of images to process, each of these steps can take a long time to complete. Is it possible to execute just the first 2 steps, for example, quit the program and continue with the other steps later? Or if I stop in between, should I start from the very beginning each time?
2) There is an option to distribute computation over a network. For this, should I purchase additional licenses?
3) There is an option to "Export Model” as PDF file. I found that this allows me to interact with this 3D model inside Acrobat. Quite nice! How is this different from what I can do with the Viewer software? Does the viewer give additional features?

Thanks for your help.
