General / Point Align not working.. or I'm doing it wrong!
« on: August 10, 2017, 01:50:29 PM »
Hey Agisoft Forums,

I've been trying to point-align all the my individual chunks (Different expression per chunk) which are a part of a FAC project but they aren't coming out well..

So I've reset the transforms of all the chunks, set my alignment and scale for my first chunk then opened 'Align Chunks' under the 'Workflow' tab.
I've double clicked on my first chunk so it's in bold text and so its the reference. Then selected a few additional chunks to be aligned (to the first chunk hopefully).

Now when the process has run, my first chunks alignment has been reset and only 1 or 2 of the chunks have the same (bad) alignment as the first chunk.

Here Chunk 1 and 2 are aligned together (alignment has been reset though) and now Chunk 3 and 4's alignment is completely off

Any Ideas?

I've also tried Camera Alignment but the actor still isn't perfectly aligned as they have moved somewhat in between shots; am I right in thinking that point alignment should align all the chunks perfectly?

General / eyebrows bleeding onto side of eye - Texturing
« on: July 05, 2017, 05:15:54 PM »
Hey,

Having a small issue with the texturing process in Photoscan.

All the scans are projecting a part of the eyebrows onto the side of the eye. Is there anyway to avoid this?

Hey guys,

I've been testing out batch processing in PS and so far it's been amazing. I just have a few questions on alignment, scale and reconstruction regions.

So first off, my alignment is always incorrect inside of PS, how would I go about fixing this? and how would I automate this with Batch processing?

In regards to scaling;  I've used Control points on my neutral scan and set the scale bar to 4.0 and hit update, this sets up the correct scale of 4cm between the control points but doesn't PS work in meters? and if so, shouldn't the correct value be 0.04?

Also in regards to scaling, how would I force all the chunks to follow the same scaling as Chunk01(Neutral expression Scan)

Lastly is there anyway to change the reconstruction region in batch processing? Currently it cuts out the ruler on the left hand side which I'd like to keep in for reference.

Any help is much appreciated,

Rashed
