General / My sparse cloud has definition thats lost when it processed into a dense cloud

My sparse cloud has definition thats lost when it processed into a dense cloud.

Does anybody know why that is happening? See the photos attached, they have a nice round definition on the handle but the dense cloud kinda collapse it in.

Any info helpful, thanks
