General / scan the same object in parts and merge it

Are there 3D scanning programs that allow capturing specific sections of an object,
then you can pause the scan,
then rotate and turn the object,
and then resuming scanning in another section, then   the software merging all SCANNED parts, into a cohesive, 3D single object
For iexample:
imagine scanning a shoe from the top, then pausing, then rotating the shoe to scan the sole in a second scanning session
Then, upload and  providing both 2 scanned sessions, to the software METASHAPE,
expecting it to merge the sections into a single organized object.
Is achieving this possible with Metashape software?

General / sphere transparency

hello.
In the metashape settings, I have found to change the size of the sphere, but not the transparency.
Would it be possible to make the sphere more transparent? thanks in advance.

General / Aling photos: SEQUENTIAL instead ESTIMATED

If I am importing a video of an object, to get the photos from there.
My question is:
When aligning the photos,
is it better to select SEQUENTIAL instead of ESTIMATED?
for a better result?

Metashape and Mac Studio = 58 Processor TOTAL:
hi my question is .....
when metashape release the new version this year 2022 v.- 1.9
will METASHAPE software take advantage of the 32 GPU processors ?
or only 2 of them (GPU cores) like in version 1.8 THAT ONLY USE 2 OF 8 cores of GPU?

General / Performance has dropped on Mac chip M1

When I processes a 3D object and building mesh, it takes 4 to 5 times longer than before.
I already configured in preferences that ihave to use the Chip M1 GPUs
and even so the process is slow, I already restarted the machine.
so my question is :
Question....
What can I do to DELET all the metashape preferences and all installed.....
then install all NEW again ....?
i mean nstall it as new from the factory in the MAC chip M1 ?

General / position and rotation (0,0,0) en export HOW please ?

good morning: I have a small problem when exporting my scanned model:
the problem is that it is exported far from the center (0,0,0)
and the rotation is also different from (0,0,0)
Question:
How can I do so that when exporting the model, it is exported with position and rotation (0,0,0)
