General / "Can´t replace file or directory"

Hi there,

when I try to process "dense point cloud", Metashape reports shortly before finished: "Can´t replace file or directory: The process cannot access the file, because beeing used by another proess (32): ...path..files/o/o/depth_maps.1/data0.zip

which is not true. There is no other process that uses this directory or file. Can anyone help please?

General / Error (°) interpretation confirmation

Dear all,

can you confirm that I interpreted the manual correctly and the Error (°) as well  Roll err (°) etc. is the estimated error of the input (source) refferences from the IMU?

General / absurd high angle error at single line flights

Hi,

I processed a single line of a flight (A1 camera with Applanix +18 INS). Metashape produces this: (s. Attachment).
Any idea what is going wrong here?

General / replace Exif-Data by CSV-List

Hello,

can anyone tell me how I replace (wrong) exif coordinates by (correct) csv-data. When I just load the csv data as reference, metashape still keeps the exif header. Thank you!

Bug Reports / Pointcloud (land surface) always twisted

Hi there,

since a while, whenever I calculate orthophotos, the pointcloud is always twisted with huge errors and thus the outcome is always useless unless I use GCPs and set them by hand. When a friend calculates the same data at his computer, the initial pointclout and thus the orthophoto fits always very well using exact the same parameters and input data (single images and added coordinate list).

What is wrong with my Metashape?

General / Larger Error [m]

Hi there,

I just processed 18 orthophotos and also after camera optimization, there is still an error [m] between 5 and 14 meter. The Pixel error is quite low. I wonder if anyonehas an idea on what could be the issue. The Images where taken by an UltracamX with RTK, so I guess the given locations and angles might be reliable.
