Agisoft Cloud / Agisoft Cloud Processing - Connection Refused Error

Hello,

I am using Agisoft Cloud to process for the first time and I am having an issue, please could you help?

I have my project ready to process, all cameras are in my workspace and I am ready to align my photos.

I have selected tools > preferences > network. Then, Enabled Cloud Processing. I have checked that my email adress and password is correct as I can log into my account in the web browser.

Network processing is unticked. Both proxy server options are unticked. Only Enable Cloud Processing is selected.

I then select Workflow > Align Photos and then get an error message which says:

Connection Refused (ConnectionRefusedError)

When I press OK, I get a blank 'Untitled' Metashape screen.

I have read another forum post with a simular issue with the proxy server and have tried selecting and deselecting the enable network processing and proxy server options but this has not worked. I am using Agisoft Professional 10.7.3.

Any suggestions are very appreciated.

General / Can't open file: The system cannot find the file specified...

Hello,

I have been shared a Metashape project via Onedrive which contain the photos, markers, and project file etc which I have saved to my Desktop.

When I open the project file Metashape returns an error message -

Can't open file: The system cannot find the file specified(2): C:/Users/... *file pathway for the folder on my desktop* .files/0/0/thumbnails/thumbnails.zip

I have the files in the pathway until I get into the 'thumbnails' folder which is empty. It appears 'thumbnails.zip' is not there.

I can't seem to use the Change Path option from the Photos pane context menu as the project is Untitled with the Chunk empty.

Please could you help?

General / Can't open my project! Error message - cannot find 'thumbnails'

Hi everyone!

I am having an issue opening my project and returning an error message saying that it cannot find the 'thumbnails'.

I have a project which was processed on another PC to the one in which I am working on. This project has been shared with my over OneDrive, I have downloaded this project onto my PC and unzipped the folder (which contains everything).

When I click the Metashape project to open it, an error message pops up which says:

Can't open file: The system cannot find the file specified (2): *file pathway*.files/0/0/thumbnails/thumbnails.zip

I'm unsure why this is showing, I'd really appreciate any help with this issue! Thank you.

General / Determine amount of points inside a selected boundary

Hello!

I am trying to determine the point density within a selected area. For example, I would like to draw a 1x1m polygon and Metashape tell me the number of points in that area and repeat this in a different location on the same model. Is this possible? I know that I can draw a boundary on the DEM/ortho but I'm not sure how to draw the polygon to a set size on the dense point cloud.

Alternately, is it possible to do this in CloudCompare? Export the dense point cloud from Metashape to CloudCompare and create to 1x1m polygon this way?

I'm fairly new to Metashape so thank you in advance!
