General / how to align and merge laser scan with dense cloud ?
« on: October 13, 2024, 12:35:20 AM »
Hi, I'm working on a survey with laser scan (from Faro laser) in .las format, and images from Mavic 3E.
I've imported images and scan as indicate in manuel (add photos and import dense cloud using "as a laser scan").
I aligned the images ; tie points are ok.
But, the tie points doesn't match with the laser scan (cf. Screen shot).
The laser scan was imported in coordonate system : RGF93v1 / CC46 (EPSG::3946), and the images are in the WGS84 (EPSG::4326) coordonnate system.
I need create a 3D modele of the factory. The laser scan for inside, the drone for outside. I placed 7 targets on the groud visible by the laser scan, and the drone images.
What do I have to do to merge the two dense clouds ? Do I have to create dense cloud from the tie points ?
Thanx for help.
