General / Move object closer to another object

Hi everyone!
I am having a trouble moving an object closer to another object.
at first, the "move object" button cannot be clicked, it's in gray. and then I right click the chunk and click reset transform.
The move button now can be clicked. But, when I use the move button, still the object doesn't move, only its region box moves.
can anyone help me please?
