General / Georeference with external orthophoto?

Hi,
I'd like to use an external orthophoto to automatically generate markers and georeference historical aerials.
Is this possible?

Hi,
an increasing number of very high resolution satellites now offer tri-stereo images with 90% overlap (e.g., Pleiades @ 0.5m ). With simple support for RPCs to calculate camera parameters instantaneously, Photoscan could handle that task easily.
