So your scale bar goes from -5 to 5 and from -3 to 3 in the second image. Did you checked this?

Python and Java API / Build Model - Facecount
« on: January 09, 2015, 12:34:32 PM »
Hej,

My curretn script to build a model looks like this

Code: [Select]
chunk.buildModel(surface=PhotoScan.Arbitrary, interpolation=PhotoScan.EnabledInterpolation, face_count=PhotoScan.HighFaceCount)
Now I want to change the facecount at the end of the line. I want to use the facecount calculated from photoscan (HighFaceCount) to the model and I simply want to double this value. This doubled value should be the new facecount for meshing the model.

Is this possible in any way?

Thanks

Did you tried more overlapping photos? I'm using about 80 photos per turn.

The Viewer can't handle your large coordinates of your projected model.

Try to export the model with local coordinates.

Can you post your export settings please. Maybe there is a hint?

Bug Reports / Re: Photoscan Version 1.0.4.1847 Texture Build Crash

That's what I've learned  :)

But I would say, that I had this kind of problem that my computer crashes at the texture generation stage.

Since then I always generate meshes with interpolation and I never had any problems with textures.

I had the same problem when I tried to generate a texture to a mesh that was generated without "interpolation"

Did you check this?

You can export your cameras by using Tools > Export > Export Cameras... Then coose a filetype you need (txt for example).

Thanks James! That helps me a lot and I think this is something for Wishgranter to put it into the Tutorial section.

Thanks for the replies  ;D

Cutting trees is no option but would solve the problem ...

I will try this part of the building with a lot of picture from as many different angles as possible and I its enough to get an acceptable but not perfect model

greetings
Martin
