Hi Alexey,

I was able to resolve that issue by placing markers and scale bar at first.

Then, I have selected both markers and scale bar, updating them with the proper "update" button.

Just a matter: there are three different icons to identify markers on pictures (blue flag, green flag and a grey undefined icon). Could you explain me the difference between them? I have read Photoscan manual, but it is not so clear.

Hi everyone,

I have added some local coordinates to my model, in order to properly scaled it.

I have placed 2 markers, drawing a scale bar among them.  Then I've setting the real measure, taken on field survey.

Finally, I have tried to export in .obj format, but when importing in a 3D modelling software, the model looks like not scaled.


I likely got something wrong during the process. Somebody can  help me?

Hi everyone,

I notice that, after creating my 3D model and simply locating two markers in order to scale, Photoscan Pro (version 1.0.4) already knows the real scale of my scene. How?

Try to locate two markers and  select the "Create Scale Bar" tool. Then select the "view estimated" tool within the Ground Control Panel...and voilà! The software does not require any input measure, at least that's what I was able to see.

So, I wonder if it is possible to know how Photoscan can do that.

Hi Alexey,

I've checked the RAM on Task Manager, but its value has remained low.

May it depends on type of OS? I work with Windows 8

Hi Alexey

Task Manager says software works, but the pc fan is quiet. At this point Photoscan becomes slow and the mesh recostruction, after 45 minutes, remains fixed at 77%.

Here thw quality of the project;

Alignment: high

Dense Cloud: ultrahigh

Mesh: medium (based on dense cloud)

Hi everyone,

I've tried to realize a 3D model of a church's facade. I was able to allign the pictures (22), to build a dense cluod, but the software has stopped the costruction of the mesh at 77%.

Somebody can help me?
