I have tried again a driver version and it runs great. The version 368.81 for Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 seems to run stable.

Apart from Windows nothing runs parallel. The funny is, at the first start I had no problems, everything ran. I have also tested the latest driver, but the GPU did not show up under the settings. I then installed an older driver and the GPU was back, but can not be used somehow. What driver version did you use?

Hello Alexey,

yes i have the 64-bit version of PhotoScan installed.

I set up the project with an earlier version of PhotoScan, of course 64-bit version. I think 1.0.

When i look at the memory use only a part of the 192 GB is used but i get the error there was not enough memmory.

I checked smaller bounding boxes but it runs only for the area of 20 photos.

Dear StevenF i´m interested on your new script.

Thanks for your answers !

General / Generate pointcloud of 266 Ultracam X photos
« on: April 24, 2015, 09:28:39 AM »
Hello,

i have a block of 266 ultracam x photos (14430 x 9420 pixels)  and i want to generate a pointcloud in ultrahigh.

All the depth images are calculated an saved, but i can´t calculate the pointcloud, because of the error : not enough memory.
My Workstation has 256 GB RAM, but the harddisk has left only 80 GB free space.

I can calculate the pointcloud of only one activated photo. Is there a way, perhaps per script, to calculate the pointcloud of every single photo and after to merge the single pointcloud to one?

Thanks

Andreas

Hello Alexey,

the script works fine!

In this project the scalebar for all left and right cameras has the same dimension.
Perhaps there´s a way to set the same length to all scalebars direct in the script.

Thanks !
