A simple question. Does mesh faces influence on the exported orthophoto quality? I know it has influence on the 3D Model, DEM etc... but does it on a orthophoto map?

What I have to do in agisoft to convert and export a orthophoto in Sirgas 2000 coordinate system?

General / Coordinate System Conversion? What I have to do?
« on: July 11, 2014, 07:12:18 PM »
Ok, can someone help me on this?

I have a dataset with aerial pictures that has the default WGS 84 coordinate system.

Image file         Long             Lat
IMG_1267.JPG -34.9963712 -8.1861384
IMG_1268.JPG -34.99656 -8.1859816
etc etc...

I processed everything as WGS 84, and the results were good. But my client want the SIRGAS 2000 coordinate system (south american) and I exported the orthophoto using SIRGAS 2000 projection on the "export orthophoto" window. But it didn't work, it shows the WGS84 coordinate in other softwares...

Is it wrong to do this? What I have to do to make this right?

Does agisoft convert between datums? If yes, how? I saw this post but its from 2011

General / Depth Filtering Mode for UAV Imagery (lots of trees)
« on: July 05, 2014, 06:17:01 AM »
Ok, I have lots of trees (40% of the area) in my 800 pics uav dataset, is it better to use mild, moderated or agressive filtering in dense cloud? At agisoft manual it reads:

Quote
If the geometry of the scene to be reconstructed is complex with numerous small details on the
foreground, then it is recommended to set Mild depth filtering mode, for important features not
to be sorted out.
If the area to be reconstructed does not contain meaningful small details, then it is reasonable to
chose Aggressive depth filtering mode to sort out most of the outliers.General workflow

Moderate depth filtering mode brings results that are in between the Mild and Aggressive
approaches. You can experiment with the setting in case you have doubts which mode to choose.

General / Aerial Workflow question!
« on: June 30, 2014, 06:06:41 PM »
Ok, I have  pictures with GPS coordinates (aerial small UAV) and 10 precise GCP. Whats the workflow so agisoft can use the aerial GPS coordinates (exif) and the GCP? Just import the pictures with GPS and put the GCP Markers with coordinates and allign?

Thanks

I removed many low quality images, based on agisoft info.

Chunk Info and Export info.

General / Help with orthophoto quality. How to improve it?
« on: June 23, 2014, 04:54:26 PM »
I made some UAV datasets with a Canon SX260. But I'm not liking the final orthophoto results, it looks blurred in comparison to the original picture. I have a good overlap and good picture quality control.  The total dataset is more than 700 pictures.

Original Picture (I picked a house with a pool)

Agisoft Ortho (Small area CROP at 100% )

The original picture:

FULL SIZE PICTURES:

The original size Agisoft Result:

You can see that the difference between the original picture and what agisoft produced as an orthophoto is big. Why?

I alligned in high, optmized, dense cloud was high and mesh was high. Didn't changed much besides that.

What can I do in the workflow to improve the quality of the ortho?

General / Y error too big. Why?
« on: June 23, 2014, 04:17:10 PM »
I'm getting a low X and Z error, but a very big Y error (report) that is 7 times the X error. Can someone point why? It's a dataset accquired with a small UAV.

General / Re: Can agisoft generate something like this?
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:11:43 PM »
I can see that this melow maps site has a very nice resolution of the 3D model. Can someone point me online services that can show a high res 3D model? I know there is sketchfab and many others like it, but they're always limited and low resolution. What I liked at the Paris 3D model is that it looks like a streaming, loading the higher resolution 3D Model.

I have some aerial maps that I want to show to some potential clients and I need to show these maps as 3D Models in high resolution online. I couldn't find any services (besides this accute 3D that I don't know if it already does what I want)

General / GeoTIFF file, is it possible to edit it after agisoft?
« on: June 13, 2014, 06:16:05 PM »
Hi,

Ok, I have a geotiff thats has is off by 15 meters, I need maximum 2 meters. Can't do the dataset again. Is there any software where I can edit the geotiff? Like the overlay image function in google earth where you can adjust rotation, size and position of a image to convert it to a kmz later?

Is there something similar for GeoTiff?

General / KMZ export quality?
« on: June 07, 2014, 12:10:01 AM »
Hi,

Is it possible to have a better quality KMZ export? It doesn't look a high res photo when I overlay it in Google Earth. Is there anything I can change in the config?

General / How to show online high resolution maps?
« on: June 04, 2014, 05:19:52 PM »
I'm looking for a solution (free if possible) to show maps in high resolution online (at my website or not), with streaming of tiles, like this one below:

http://maps.swiftradioplanes.com/sample_1.html

Can someone point me solutions?

And how to export this high resolution tiles in agisoft? Like google maps/earth. Via KMZ export in agisoft? But whats the best config for high resolution?
