Dear Agisoft team,
It would be very handy if one could store multiple orthomosaics processed with e.g. different blending modes in a project. Would it be possible to add this?
Thanks, Helge

I have the same question.

General / GSD in orthomosaic
« on: April 02, 2020, 03:10:32 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,

We are flying in hetergenious landscapes. Would it be possible for you to add the option to attach an additional layer in the orthomosaic that states the estimated ground sampling distance (GSD) in e.g. millimeters

Thanks

General / Orthophoto blending modes (min max) processing error
« on: November 15, 2019, 08:48:31 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,
when I try to process my data with the blending mode max (only availible in the python api) it seems that I get the same result as if I process my data with blending mode disabled. Is this a bug and could you reintroduce the min max orthomosaic blending modes also to the gui. These sometimes come in handy. Thanks a lot

ps. please move to bug report. Sorry

General / Optimal size non-coded targets
« on: October 11, 2019, 02:07:20 PM »
Dear all,

can anybody tell me what the optimal size for non-coded targets (either circular or cross) is? I guess it would be best to state it in pixels / relative to the ground sampling distance?

Thanks a lot,
Helge

General / Merging chunks of different cameras
« on: September 12, 2019, 01:54:36 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,

I have several projects that I have captured with two different cameras (one visible, one near infrared) at the same time / same area. I have processed them (align, DEM, Orthomosaic) in different chunks and used very high precision ground control points to georeference them. Is there an option to append the bands of the different chunks during Orthomosaic export?
What I hope for is to omit an extra step of reprojecting one orthomosaic to another with another tool.

Thanks a lot

Hello SAV,

I think similar feature would be available in version 1.4. After non-coded markers detection it should be possible to import the CSV file with the marker coordinates and let PhotoScan to find the correspondence automatically and to rename the found matching markers according to the CSV file.

For regular marker grid, though, like in the thread you are referring to, it may not work very well.

Is this feature already included in the current version of agisoft?

General / Provide Agisoft with GCP position in image
« on: July 06, 2018, 04:48:26 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,

I use uncoded markers that are unfortunately not recognized by Photoscan automatically. However, with some image processing I can find the markers in my orthophoto.

Is it possible in some way to provide Agisoft the positions in the orthophoto along with the GPS coordinates such that clicking the "optimise camera alignment" button will use this information to georeference the scene and tag the GCPs in the images?

Thanks a lot,
Helge

General / Re: Output multispectral tiff additional bands

I am sorry, the additional band was coming from another preprocessing step.

This topic can be closed

General / Output multispectral tiff additional bands
« on: May 31, 2018, 05:15:32 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,

I'm processing multispectral tiff images with Agisoft (recent version). My original images have 16 bands. However, the output is 18 bands. I already understood that the last band is the alpha channel. But were does the other additional band come from.

Thanks,
Helge

General / Re: The size of coded markers for UAV acquisition
« on: February 03, 2017, 05:42:36 PM »
Dear Alexey Pasumansky,

has there bin any update on the topic. I.e.:
- Is there a formula to that allows to calculate the marker size and central point radius in relationship to the ground resolution of a camera
- When will the non-coded target recognition be available?

Thanks a lot and kind regards,
Helge

Thank you very much, could you document how these are estimated?

Feature Requests / Export pitch and roll
« on: February 01, 2016, 03:27:49 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,

If I understood right, the omega, phi, kappa values stated in the export camera positions are relative to the x, y and z axis of the scene (to the axis of the coordinate system - in my case WSG 85). How can convert these to pitch and roll?
For simplicity, yaw could be set equal to kappa.

Thank you very much and kind regards,
Helge

General / build texture options and orthophoto export
« on: October 27, 2014, 09:23:20 PM »
Dear Agisoft team,

I have a view questions mostly regarding the build texture options related to multi.tiff images  (Photoscan Version 1.0.4 (64 bit) professional):
1.   I read in the forum that “Textures inside of Photoscan is stored in 8 bit (http://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=177.msg723#msg723). Is this still valid and does this mean, that there is no reason to import images with more than 8 bit color depth (per layer/band)?
2.   I’m using areal images to reconstruct the 3D structure. However, I’m mostly interested in the near planar surfaces within the 3D topography when it comes to the real color representation within my multi.tiff bands. In the manual I read for the Texture mapping modes that (adaptive) orthophoto mapping “produces … more compact texture representations … for near planar scenes …”. What do you mean by “compact” - does this mean the quality is improved or reduced?
3.   Regarding the texture size/count: I don’t entirely understand the description here: Say I have image data in 1 cm ground resolution of a 50 m by 50 m area. If I would like to keep that resolution for my texture I would have to set the pixel size to 5000? Does the count influence the export image, since it is not shown in the Export Orthophoto window?
4.   And a bit more general: How can I derive the true resolution of my DEM & Orthophoto? Is this given by the Ground resolution data in the processing report?
Thank you very much.

General / Re: Agisoft PhotoScan 1.1.0 pre-release
« on: October 25, 2014, 08:49:35 PM »
Dear Agisoft Team,

I was very pleased reading "Added support for Cross (non-coded) target detection". However, do they need to be colored or does this work for gray scale images as well. Moreover, how many pixels should a target at least be in the image?
Thank you very much
