The Twinstant Mobile full-body scanner is also an option - it sets up in <20 minutes, fits in the back of a standard car, and starts at just $26,995.

We've been building 3D scanners for >3 years now - and we've always continued to improve the hardware and software to make scanning more reliable, quicker, cheaper, and easier.

I believe we're also the only company that offers streamlined end-to-end solutions including photoset-to-model processing, retouching, and product fulfillment services (including full color models and crystals) at reasonable prices.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly - or visit our website and request more information there.

Hello ricberw,

Do you have the same issue with the version 1.2 on the computer without discrete graphic card?

The default view can be selected in the General tab of PhotoScan Preferences window.

No, it does not - I've been using 1.2.6 for a while now, but the issue was not present there (nor was it present in 1.2.5, which I was using prior to 1.2.6).

It seems to be a problem with drawing any type of text on the model view, as showing cameras does it (the camera names/numbers do not show up in 1.3) and trying to "Show Info" e.g. # of points does it.

How can I make the point cloud view be the default/not switch away from it?

It seems as though these errors are occurring even when the point cloud view is selected.

Output from the console:

2016-10-18 23:34:49 Agisoft PhotoScan Version: 1.3.0 build 3075 (64 bit)
2016-10-18 23:34:49 OpenGL Vendor: Microsoft Corporation
2016-10-18 23:34:49 OpenGL Renderer: GDI Generic
2016-10-18 23:34:49 OpenGL Version: 1.1.0
2016-10-18 23:34:49 Maximum Texture Size: 1024
2016-10-18 23:34:49 Quad Buffered Stereo: not enabled
2016-10-18 23:34:49 ARB_vertex_buffer_object: not supported
2016-10-18 23:34:49 ARB_texture_non_power_of_two: not supported
2016-10-18 23:34:49 renderer_gl.cpp line 399: drawText() failed, error 1280
2016-10-18 23:34:49 renderer_gl.cpp line 399: drawText() failed, error 1280
2016-10-18 23:34:49 renderer_gl.cpp line 399: drawText() failed, error 1280
2016-10-18 23:34:49 renderer_gl.cpp line 399: drawText() failed, error 1280
2016-10-18 23:34:49 renderer_gl.cpp line 399: drawText() failed, error 1280
(then the drawText() errors show up constantly)

Also included a screenshot of the view with the cameras enabled - if I enable the cameras to be displayed, I get random color blocks showing up on the model view - but if I disable the cameras from view, the random color blocks go away.

As another note, it seems that it only shows drawText() errors when I move the mouse over the model/point cloud view pane.

EDIT: I just turned off "show info" in the "view" menu's show/hide items list, and now my drawText() errors have disappeared! Not sure this will solve the crashing though (since it seems to crash randomly). I'll post again if I see another crash.

Having a rather large issue with running this release - no matter what I do, I get GL errors...

2016-10-15 16:54:59 renderer_gl.cpp line 399: drawText() failed, error 1280

^^ this error appears over and over again, and eventually, the program crashes.

Windows 8.1
GTX780
i7 4790k

... and...

Windows Server 2012 R2
(no graphics card)

Any ideas? Is there a way to open the .exe with a "-nogl" option? I'm on Standard.

Bug Reports / Non-Matching UV Map and Texture JPG
« on: November 26, 2015, 06:25:16 AM »
Hello all,

I've been running into an issue that happens occasionally (usually when my machine has been running for a while) that blows my mind - when exporting an OBJ with an 8k texture, I get a mis-matched UV map and JPG texture file (e.g. the texture coords/UV map aren't matched properly to the exported JPG). The JPG looks fine, and the map looks fine, they just don't line up.

I'm using Photoscan Standard.

The process I follow is this:

Import Photos
Align Photos
Build Dense Cloud
(crop the cloud using the selection tool)
Build Mesh
Build Texture
Save PSZ
Export OBJ

No errors are logged in the console, nor is there anything wrong with the OBJ except for the texture coords not matching up.

I've tried changing my video card, changing my drivers, etc, and I can't seem to find a machine that doesn't do this occasionally. Using 1.0.4, 1.1.6, and 1.2.0 (and all three do the same thing).

I'd say this happens once every 10-15 exports.

The attached image shows what happens - the circle on the bottom right of the UV actually matches the center middle of the top of the JPG image...

Any ideas?
