General / Draw 3D Polylines
« on: April 06, 2016, 05:36:50 AM »
Hi everyone!

Is there a way to draw 3D polylines, and export them to a dxf?

IE: Instead of exporting the wireframe mesh, I want to trace the mesh and export what I traced.

Pix4Dmapper gives the ability to draw 3D Polylines, and export them to to a dxf; so I was wondering if Agisoft Pro does too.

Thanks!

General / INSPIRE 1

Is there anyone using a DJI Inspire 1 with Agisoft?

If so,  does the camera geo-tag images? What is included in the telemetry file? Can you please upload a txt file?

I'm pretty sure the geo-tagged images can be achieved with the read only level one SDK, and most certainly level two SDK. I just wasn't sure if this was possible with factory settings. Perhaps i don't need to worry about geo-tagged images since scaling can be done with markers too.

Also, if you are using Inspire 1 with Agisoft, how do you like it? Would you recommend it? I was thinking of going with 3DR X8+ instead of Inspire 1. Two totally different beasts, i know :-)

Thanks for reading!

General / Re: Model built on incorrect plane

@bigben, thanks for the hotkeys! i will use them from here on.

@Alexey, I'm not using any reference points. Is that a Pro version feature? I have Photoscan version. I am able to rotate the model to the plane desired, however it's not perfectly flush with the zero axis plane.  Should I go through the workflow again using the hoykeys bigben specified? Hopefully looking top-down when aligning photos or building the point cloud will build the model on the zero Z axis plane...

Thanks again!

I'm having an issue with the model being constructed on the incorrect plane in Agisoft Photoscan. I'm not sure if this can be addressed by just using the Pro version. Every time I export the model, it's always on a 45 degree angle through the zero Z axis plane.  This is hard to explain, so I attached two images that should clarify what I'm talking about.... Is there a way to 'mate' the bottom of the model flush to the zero Z axis plane??

THANKS!

General / GoPro not working with v1.1.0 update
« on: January 04, 2015, 08:17:06 PM »
I recently upgraded PhotoScan to the new version 1.1.0, and now i can't generate a point cloud using a chunk from my GoPro.  I know GoPro's are not the best for photogrammetry, but if you use the GoPro in the case, it flattens the lens and i was always able to generate a model this way with the older software version.

When i tried the new v1.1.0 for the first time with new images, i was unable to generate a point cloud, even though I had 117 photos with an an average of 60,000 points per image when aligning. I thought i had an issue with my images. So I used a chunk from a previous project (used a GoPro) that i processed fine using the older software. I was unable to generate a point cloud with this chunk too. Something's not right here. Either there is a new setting that I am missing, or v1.1.0 doesn't support GoPro's.  Can I revert back to the older version somehow, please???

Thanks for your time!!
