May be due to different material settings and lighting on the 3d mesh? The 3dmax render has high specularity and this shows the mesh roughness, maybe hiding texture details.

I answer to myself.

When i tried with different chunks i did because i tought that PS couldn't manage certain shots. So i selected those shots i tought PS could digest and separated them in two chunks.

Now i tried simply "throwing" all the photos (anso previously discharged shots) into PS and make it crunch them.
It. worked. Now i have the entire cave seamlessly rebuilt in 3D.

I'm floored.

Some black magic is developing here. Sir, you deserve all my kudos for building such amazing software and giving it for such price (i'm referring to Standard, i never could afford a Pro license)

Alexey, is the camera station used to simplify the alignment process to PS?
Just to say to it not to bother aligning in space all pictures from the same camera station?
And if so, does PS still handle little offsets that may occur in the shots of the same camera station?

Hi all! Im' new to the forum!

I'm a pretty new PS Standard user and i'm enjoying it with a bunch of cave photos i shot time ago for a slideshow (so, they were not shot with photogrammetry in mind, but each shot has a different  horizontal position because i used them to build a very rough animation).
Incidentally there is a enough high number of shots of the same room and i could achieve pretty good results, i never tought that photogrammetry could be so precise. Amazing!

And now for my issue: I can subdivide the set of photos in two chunks as they were shooted from two distinct points of view. Both chunks generate a pretty good mesh but i have difficulties in chunks alignment as PS doesn't seem to automatically recognize matching points between the two. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they overlap.

Can i help PS in some way or the only option is to "push and pull" on an external 3D editor trying to match rotation/position and scale?
