General / Shape boundary

Hi,

I'm gettin an unexpected issue while trying to set an imported DXF/KML/SHP shape as an outer boundary of orthomosaic - the "set boundary type" option is disabled.
Why is that happens? Is there any limitations with imported files to use them as a boundary?

Hi, try to export in PTS and then sample file in other software - ex cloud compare. Try different space between points to get result you expect.
Personally I think you will need also divide file into parts.

From my experience it's a really bad practice . I think you should run at least 3 lines. Also GCP's should be placed not only along the line, but also on the edges. Ex. 3 GCP's every 200meters of rail line.

From our experience increasing overlap won't help.
If we spot some forest areas while flight planning we usually plan another flight with higher level.
Ex. base flight at 60meters and another above forest at 250-300 meters. Then we combine these two sets of photos in agisoft. You won't lose as much accuracy - I think 5-6cm GSD at the tree is still very accurate .
