General / Trouble getting estimated camera locations
« on: November 25, 2021, 09:41:09 AM »
Hi

I have imported camera locations (wgs84) for alle the cameras and done the alignment. Sparse point cloud is ok. I have cleaned the sparse point cloud and optimized camera locations.

Now I want to get the estimated coordinates for the optimized camera locations, but the 'estimated values' sheet is empty. What do I need to do to get the estimated camera locations?

Thanks!

Incremental alignment is very, very valuable tool for me. I work with very big projects (+20k cameras, often poor image quality) and aligning all images at once is way beyond my computing capacity.

I have encountered quite a few times a situation where I want to realign a subset of cameras that have been aligned already. So far I have simply deleted the cameras from project and reimported them. This is a bit inconvinient. Is there a way to select desired subset of cameras and reset tiepoints from them inside the project?

General / Set camera distance for dual camera rig
« on: October 09, 2017, 08:03:42 PM »
I'm using two cameras mounted on a bar. I'm mostly scanning archaelogical sites and I feel that this dual camera rig gives me slight robustness in camera-alignment. Is there a way to tell photoscan (standard) the distance of the two cameras/cameragroups? Would there be benefit in aligning process if photoscan 'knew' the distance of two cameragroups? Many thanks!

Hi Alexey, really loving the new update.

I'm getting the "A media resource couldn't be resolved" issue with the vids from my Samsung NX500.  It outputs to MP4s with H.265 rather than the more common H.264. This is on 64 bit windows 10.

If it makes a difference, I'm also able to view the vids in various media players and extract frames using DVDVideoSoft's free tool.

If you want a test file to check out, I've uploaded a copy of a ~1 second video of the checkerboard calibration screen from Lens here:

Thank you for the update and new features! I have the exact same problem. It occurs with all video types. I'm using win10, standard 64 bit version. thanks
