Face and Body Scanning / I need to make a multiple camera rig

Hello everyone.

I have a project that requires me to set up about 10 cameras shooting  at the same time.
For the time being I don't have the budget to buy DSLRS so I was wondering if that would be possible with point and shoot cameras.
I obviously would love it if I get anything close to 20mp resolution if that would help a bit to generate more details in photoscan.
Can anyone point me to the right direction to make this happen?

You might also get more answers if, rather than here in the 'General' section of the forum, you ask in the dedicated 'Face and Body Scanning' section as they mostly use multi-camera rigs.

I looked at it, and still scratching my head as to what camera could be supported that has a decent resolution as well. Seems like the list for the time being is either outdated models or I just can't find a supported model that matches what I need. But thanks for the hint. I'll keep combing through it to see if I find anything.

General / Multiple camera rig. What to buy?

I need to setup a multiple camera rig, with a single remote trigger.
Do I need to buy DSLR cameras for this, or are there any compact digital cameras that could be used at a lower cost? (I was hoping to find cameras for $300 or less each if possible)
I've spent the entire day researching this with no results.
