I'm testing the mesh who had isolated parts inside,  at the moment seems works fine.

Hallo, i have to scan a big palace,is possible take  from ground with camera (canon eos 2000d) and from aerial phantom 4 pro 20 mpx?Can cause  alignment problem?

What  is the difeerence between high and ultra high settings if high is 100% resolution?
In wich case ise better use it?

I find this latest version generate very good mesh (except this problem), the mesh is not affected from that noiser of the previous version.

Hi Mak i don't know because i don't remeber   the project done in 1.51 this one is  the more recent ,fore sure every  mesh originated in 1.52 have some  part inside, is not a big problem because i can clear  the model in  blender( a bit slow to charge a big mesh),   initially it was a problem because the mesh looked healthy but instead it hid these vertices which had a huge impact on unwrap times.

Hallo Alexey i set build mesh from depht maps , in high  quality high  poly ,as you can see in the 2 pic we have the raw mesh outside exported in blender, in the 1 we  have the vertices sconnected from the  main mesh, inside.

There is no way to clean inside  MS  because it causes  a lot of problem in the unwrap  and can increase a lot the number of vertices.

Hallo every one, some one have noticed a great  number of vertices inside the mesh?It cause me some problem unwrappin in zbrush, before to descover the problem, for me the problem appear in the latest MS versions.

thank you Mak, i noticed a massive use of ram,but during the process seems to use the half of the  total amount of both  video cards

General / when is convenient refine mesh?
« on: April 30, 2019, 10:23:51 PM »
Hi  i discovered a function  that i ignored for long time, "refine mesh"  i noticed  that can add a lot of details, but using in ultra high  settings is  very very slow, so my question is: is more convenient build a mesh in middle quality and then use refine mesh or  build in high or ultra high settings? If during refining  process the ram used is near to 100% it menas that i'm using disk swap and the process is slower?

i don't know the correct amount of ram , but i can tell that using mesh from depht maps, fine level task enabled ,i can generate mesh from   over 400x24 mpixels photos with only 32 gb of ram in ultra high settings.
