Thank you for contacting us.

DEM generation is only possible for referenced projects (point clouds). You can simulate georeferencing by executing the following line in the Console pane:

Metashape.app..document.chunk.transform.matrix = Metashape.app..document.chunk.transform.matrixAfter that the Build DEM option will be available in the Workflow menu. I can also suggest to adjust the orientation of the point cloud in the Model view, if needed, using Rotate Object tool before executing the mentioned command.

Please also note that you need to select Extrapolated option in the Build DEM dialog, if there are no aligned cameras in your project.

Helo,
I have only point cloud LAS file, and I want to create the DSM (DEM) model in metashape for it, but when I import the point cloud into metashape, the option Build DEM is grayed out, I know is something about Bounding Box, which is not shown in a model view of Metashape, but  I don´t know what to do. Please help.
PS. I´m using metashape version 1.8.0 Preview Release.

Hello partners:
I am trying to process a set of photographs taken with the Phantom 4 RTK.
The photographs have in their metadata the precisions in XYZ with which they were made.
When I upload the photos in the PhotoScan 1.4.3 does not recognize that data, it gives me the precision that PhotoScan has by default. 10 meters.
I have tried to load the same photos in Pix4D, if you load the precisions of XYZ (attached photograph).
Can someone tell me the workflow to process the photos taken with the Phantom 4 RTK?

Hi, to all and Happy New Year.
I need some help, I have one Photogrammetry project of one mine here in Peru which have more than 5000 images and +130 GCP, The GCPs are in PSAD56 UTM 18S coordinate system with elevation in EGM2008 Vertical datum. When I want to create project PSAD56 UTM 18S  coordinate system with EGM2008 Vertical datum in Photoscan, it send me a error message Selected Vertical Datum is unavailable.... Is there any solution to solve this.
