Python and Java API / Re: Export markers per image
« on: October 31, 2019, 10:07:17 AM »

Hi,
the script worked for me as well but I am wondering how I could make it work that I am only exporting the pixel locations only of markers with green flags (markers corrected by me), not even the blue ones?

Does anybody have a solution for that?

Thanks in advance!

General / Save Images with Markers as JPGs
« on: September 25, 2019, 07:02:44 AM »

Hi All,

I was wondering if it is possible to save/export all images that have markers (which were set with the help of the orthomosaic) as JPGs in which I will see the marker? Is there a way of doing so without writing a python script as I have never used python, quite willing to learn but not having too much time on my hands.

I am remotely sensing bird nests in the orthomosaic but want to automate this process with the help of a computer working group but to get there we need to annotate all raw images with nests to build a huge training data set.

Would appreciate any help or advise.
Thank you in advance!

Feature Requests / Orthmosaic Export and Import to ArcGIS
« on: August 02, 2019, 06:27:00 AM »

Hi All,

I am pretty new to the field of remote sensing and photogrammetry as well as to the software Agisoft and i am stuck on a couple of things in which anyone might be able to help with.

I processed my aerial images of a forest section to an orthomosaic and exported it as a geoTIFF to be able to use it further in ArcGIS. In Agisoft and any other Photo viewing software the orthomosaic looks really good with a very good quality, but once I load this orthomosaic into ArcGIS the colors look very pale and the quality is reduced quite a bit. I attached a screenshot of the comparison of the orthomosaic in ArcGIS (left) and Windows Photo Viewer (right). I never had any problem with loading GeoTiffs into ArcGIS from other sources before. They always looked fine and showed the same quality in ArcGIS as when opened with other software. I don't understand what is happening here. It's probably a stupid setting thing but I tried a few things and nothing seems to make it better.

My second issue is the black background. Even though I wrote an alpha channel in the export, in ArcGIS it appears with the black box, while again in other Photo Viewing software it appears without. Did anybody have similar issues and was able to fix that?

Happy about any response, advise and help.
