I do the exact same thing with ROVs as well for metrologies. You need to check the box in front of the Yaw to correctly rotate you model.

It worked beautifully, thank you so much for this. I have been banging my head against the wall for over a week.

I will try this and report back.

Thank you Alexey.

Any feedback on this? I have the same situation with my scaled dataset, Z is never up and I have pitch, roll and heading values for each image, I do not have x,y,z.

Moving to a new chunk breaks the alignment as noodlez said. I tried that first before coming here.

Try negative values. -11.3 instead of 11.3

Do both dataset have the same coordinate reference system? Can select the las file and fit to screen?

Does Metashape support NADCON transformation? Exporting to NAD27 16N USft from Metashape is off by 15m as its using a 3-parameter transformation. How do we utilize the NADCON method in Metashape?
I've put in a ticket but no response. This is quite urgent.

There are two ways to create a mesh, either by creating a dense cloud or directly running create a mesh option.

In the older version of Metashape (Photoscan) you could only create a mesh from a dense cloud, the process of creating a dense cloud also created depth maps for mesh creation.
Now in Metashape you can skip creating a dense cloud and create a mesh from depth maps without having to create a dense cloud, the option to reuse depth maps will not be there.

If you choose to first create a dense cloud, depth maps will be saved and when you go to create a mesh you can reuse those depth maps.

General / Hiding camera groups

Is there a way to hide camera groups? I have organized my chunk with multiple camera groups based on runlines and area. I want to view a certain group with another and no others...is that possible?

The Canon EOS R is a great bit of kit, I captured this cube with it on a turntable. I used an EF 100mm L lens.
The turntable setup was a Foldio3.

As Paulo stated, you need a grid coordinate system...XYZ/ENH...not LatLongHeight which is what WGS84 is exporting.

Hello soarCC,

To better assist can you post screen shots of your camera calibration in metashape and your alignment settings.

How did you create the mesh, with depth maps or dense cloud?
