Funny thing is that when I export the model and open it with Agisoft Viewer, I can properly measure there with the Ruler tool. Of course, another problem is that I cannot do a lot of other thigs in the Viewer so it is not usable for my purpose.

Hi,
I have an imported point cloud. It is properly scaled and referenced. Metashape assins [R]. But still I cannot use Ruler. But I need it. Adding some scale bars do not help, not enought reference data. What can I do? I can draw points and export them into txt. Or see coordinates by adding markers. But it is too slow, I need the ruler tool. Thanks.

Hi,

horizontal and vertical options in creating animation seem wrong. Axis are set wrong and therefore animation is not usable without a lot of manual work. Please fix, Metashape Pro 2.0.0. See attachment. Thanks.

How to uninstall this version? I need to go back to stabel version but instalation is not listed in Control Panel > Programs and Features...

Hi,

after drawing points... I think there use to be possible to show shape labels on a 3d model. Now in 2.0 version "Show shape labels option" does nothing on a point cloud or 3D model.

It works when the shape layer is selected but only white background is visible - no 3D model. Another error or intention?

It is not the same thing. We want to generate a specific picture (hi resolution screen shot) from 3D model. Not building planar orthomosaic from pictures.

Hi,

I think I solved the problem. It is about the markers being unticted in the Reference pane panel. Not sure why it is absolutely neccessary to be ticked but enabling them seems to solve it.

Hi,

I have developed a workflow but with metashape software update, it is now not fully functional. When I generate planar orthomosaic by markers and I have previously clicked "Remove projection" on markers, there is an error. It was not in previous versions.

I need to correct manually coordinates of the markers and so I do not want them to be projected on the model. Why do you know insist on it?

With the measurement tool, something  more is related. When I have 360°° photos, it is hard (slower) to orientate with the distorted photo. I would suggest to implement a viewer of 360°° photo such as in Trimble Scan Explorer Viewer - see attachment. There you can move the view (frame) around 360° photo and measure on it.
