General / Contour generation

Hi,
I am using a dual xeon gold 6154 @ 3.7 ghz all cores stable ( 36C 72 T) along with a gtx 1080. The contour generation process in really slow. In addition, my system resources are not being used enough. I have swap space enabled in my system, and it is getting filled before my RAM is full. Is this normal. Attaching screenshots as well.

Hi all,
I have a dual xeon gold 6154(36C 72T @ 3.76 GHz) with a gtx 1080 and 128gb RAM. I read on the forums that windows won't be able to handle 50+ threads together.
1) Has this issue been resolved and is it able to handle the entire thread count now ?
2) Will ubuntu 18.04 or some other ubuntu version be able to handle this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
