Python and Java API / Issue when trying to generate a Metashape API report in Japanese

I am trying to output a report from the Metashape API in Japanese, but I haven't been able to accomplish it, it seems like API does not support Japanese. I wrote the title and description in Japanese, but both became garbled/incomprehensible. So my question is, can I output a report from the Metashape API in Japanese? If not possible, would you mind telling me what can I do to accomplish this goal?
