General / Re: Problem with Dense Cloud Classification
« on: June 23, 2014, 11:27:03 AM »
Hi Mohabon,

you have used wrong parameters.
Take a look at : http://www.agisoft.ru/tutorials/photoscan/08/

The second Parameter (Max disctance (m) ,..dertmines the assumption for the maximum cariation of the ground-ELEVATION at a time. 1m is for your purpose too much. Try 0.5 or something like this.
The Third parameter ..Cell size with 100m is also too high.

In case the result of automatic dense cloud classification is not acceptable the procedure can be re-run using adjusted parameters (for example, if some on-ground objects like stones and small bushes were classified as ground points it is reasonable to reduce Max angle and Max distance parameter values).

Note: It is important to reset the assigned classes for the dense cloud prior to starting the procedure again with the new set of parameters.

Hope that is a useful information for you.
Best regards

You should use Build Mesh - Arbitrary - Source Data : Dense Cloud-

Then you'll get a mesh that is simmilar to your dense cloud.

Surface type : Height field is only 2D + 1
Surface type: Arbitrary is 3D

Bug Reports / Re: Model export as dxf
« on: March 29, 2014, 05:49:23 PM »
Hi Amanda,

save your Project in version 091. Open it with 091 and export as dxf there.
Seems like the dxf export is bugged in 103.
I had few days ago the same problem.
But if you want to generate a Elevation model, why do you use AutoCad and the Model export function.
Export via Agisoft a DEM as tiff. Import the DEM via Autocad and generate your Contour lines or what ever there. Exporting your Model as dxf,..takes much too much triangles. Your Autocad will go down with >5 Millions triangles.
Hope that helps.

Hi Marco,

if you want to make just fotos, you can use this camera.
If you want to process them in Agisoft, i recommend you to buy a camera with fix focal lenght.

Nice work AGISOFT Team on BETA-version 1.0.

Will there be a funtion in 1.0 to import a Dense Cloud in .las format ?
(which has been classified in an external Software)
Or can you give me a little hint , for a work around?

It would be nice to classify the Dense Point Cloud in an external Software aswell.
Or even if i erase some Dense Cloud Point unintentionally, i can restore them from an backup file (inclusive the classification), without creating the Dense point cloud again, and the classification.
Saving and loading of an whole big Project in PS takes too much time.
Maybe a "save-classification-mask" of Dense Point Cloud could be of a little help.

thx a lot.

Bug Reports / 3D PDF Model Export
« on: August 12, 2013, 12:09:38 PM »
In Version 0.9.0 it was possible to export a 3d PDF in a geographic or projected Coordinate System system. This option is disabled in version 0.9.1 (only export in local coordinate system).
Why is this function in 0.9.1 disabled? (will this function be enabled again in the next update?)
Thx for help.
