Have you considered the LED light panels? It saves you a lot of space. :)

Something like this?

Hi ttoke,

Many thanks. Just to make sure which one is 660? 4500? ::) the darker one is 660 I guess

What is the size of this model? Thanks.

Hi ttoke,

Can you share some photos of these two samples? Thanks  ;D

I agree and guess that 4500 is pathing the way to next generation 6500 with CMYK ;)

This 3D artist has tried to print his work on 4500. I don't think this can be easily made on sandstone   :o

Cool Magnus!! I remember your face  :D

Hi Both, Shapeways has just released full color plastic (I guess it is 4500) for pilot run. It seems it can print higher details than sandstone. Let me try to print a sample and report the result.  :)

Face and Body Scanning / Re: Multiple cameras AC power supply

And how about this? Other than triggering, it has power system.
http://www.agisoft.ru/forum/index.php?topic=2643.0

For me, I am using external power adapter for canon camera and no problem so far. But I want to know if it is safe to turn the camera on-off by simply switching through the AC power. If possible, I can simplify my daily routines and spend more time on coffee. :)

I did not try different background colors, but I think it will do and you may need to tune up the lighting

Hi there,

My cameras are not mounted on permanent structure so they can have some displacement after few photo session. One of the solution is to take a set of background photos after/before every capture session. Try to link up the stand can also help to stable your camera. :)

If you have a lot of objects in the background, I am afraid you have to mask it out. I am using white background so I can get photo aligned with /without masking usually. But if someone is wearing white shirt, my nightmare comes.  Lambo knows it ;D

I personally would prefer 35mm prime w/ APSC considering the trade off between the shooting area and number of cameras. I have not tried the 40mm at the moment, I hope it is a cheaper options  (cheaper than 35mm  ;D) and same performance in PS

I do not have any issue on using different focal length in one shot, PS will do all magics  ;D

Agisoft has the following recommendations on lens settings
Lens:
Fixed lens are preferred. If zoom lens are used – focal length should be set either on
maximal or minimal value, if this condition is not provided each zoom-lens camera should
be calibrated separately;
Try to use minimal possible camera/lens models and different focal length

Hi Lambo,

Have you tried 40mm pancake lens? I read previous posts but didn't get any conclusion. How is it comparing with the kit lens and ef 50mm prime lens? in terms of cost and quality.  ;D

Considering different model poses and DOF, 2.5m radius is more flexible ;D
