Although it looks cool, It would be nice to easily remove something like this from your orthophoto:

Very interesting results.

Where can I download the same image set to test myself?

The samples on the agisoft page seem to be 31 & 32 images?

Also be aware that the gps coordinates could have errors. For example incorrect ambiguity resolution if measured using gps.

Yes please! It wouldn't improve accuracy but would be nice to fix moving objects like cars and animals.  I had an ortho that showed half a horse the other day.

Interesting. Thanks for the help.  Tea viewer seems to do the trick.

Hi,

I've run the sample project on my machine:

ultra and mild depth settings.

Device 1 performance: 1072.65 million samples/sec (GeForce GTX 780 Ti)
Device 2 performance: 1054.08 million samples/sec (GeForce GTX 780 Ti)
Total performance: 2126.73 million samples/sec

General / GPU's not showing up in OpenCL settings
« on: February 15, 2014, 12:45:11 AM »
When using remote desktop or similar programs I've got a problem because agisoft doesn't show up the available GPU's.  I guess it's because they aren't being used for remote desktop.

Currently I need to start the processing locally at the computer.  Then I can login in remotely and complete the processing.

Is there a workaround for this?

General / Suggested computer settings

Hi,

I'm new to processing with agisoft and would like some comments on how to best setup my workstation.

I've got:

intel 4960x
64gb ram 2133MHz
GIGABYTE GA-X79-UP4
2 x GTX 780 TI
windows 7 professional
liquid cooling etc

I'm wondering if there are any tricks on how to setup computer and windows for the best processing performance?

overclocking CPU and ram?

I've noticed in the forum that there is no point connecting the two GPU's in crossfire or SLI? is that correct?

Is there any benefit with SSD's? I think I saw somewhere that it didn't help the processing speed?

thank you.

Is there a preferred version?

I'm thinking about win 7 ultimate 64 bit or win 8.1 pro 64 bit.

I'm building this pc mostly for processing aerial images.  Is there anything I've missed or should change?

Thanks.

Hi,

Mobiles copter  - the new sony a7r looks great. I'm not sure what lens will best suit aerial mapping.  There will be the zeiss 35mm but it might be better to get a wider angle.
