Are you sure, you are using build 1980?
Hi Alexey ,
Yes,  using build 1980 made a big difference. It works like a charm.   Thank you.

Hello Alexey,

When I import the camera positions from the latest version into beta version, it says  " Can't build point cloud "
So, is there any differences in their communication to each others ?

General / How much does colour difference have an impact on PhotoScan ?
« on: September 08, 2014, 04:58:27 PM »
Hi everyone,
There is a duty for me with many photos and when i do the alignment process, PhotoScan aligns very well..
However I think depending on the colour difference with the each photo, PhotoScan can not create a good dense cloud. Some photos a bit reddish , another a bid blueish.. I checked the matches of some photos and it was reported as (example) 5 valid, 98 invalid.
How much can colour balance have an impact on process ?   BTW, Also is there any tricks to balance the colours in the photos? perhaps software? I tried playing on colour levels for each photos. it made some difference but not as good as they should be. valid value was increased with this try.

By the way, there is also another solution about alignment issue.
export camera positions (from a nice alignment)
import camera positions (for the pain alignment)

  ;)

Hi guys,

Thx for your answers,
The thing is, usually all cameras being aligned. However, when i start to create the point cloud, Photoscan doesn't use all the cameras. That is weird..

« on: August 20, 2014, 01:48:03 AM »
Hi ,
Sometimes i get very good allignment.. However it says  74 cameras used of 86 cameras.
In this case, is there any way to force the PhotoScan using all cameras ?  Why it don't use all cameras... :-/

Hi,
We currently run Projet® 660pro , ProJet® 4500 as well as ProJet® 3500 HDMax.
I can confirm bot Projet® 660pro , ProJet® 4500 are have almots the same results in quality..
However used materials are different and their price too. I can say depends on purpose of using.
Next week, I will try to print the same object from two different printers and then upload some photos.
Also dear matey Wishgranter, you still keep it secret but thanks to Lord I sorted out the color issue long time ago...

Face and Body Scanning / Re: same setting got difference resault
« on: July 12, 2014, 12:15:48 PM »
Hi,

It seems there is not enough overlap. Perhaps you can add 8 more cameras and make it 50 at least.
other settings look normal. Also using masking plays significant role. if you can upload your data set and PM me , i can dig in.

Good luck.

Face and Body Scanning / Re: DSLR connected via network

Question is, are DSLR's "seeable" by a PC on a network if they were connected to a network hub by these adapters?

No They can not, because they can't introduce themselves as a device on the network.
