Could you please check that X and Y columns in Ground Control pane are not mixed on import?
I think, for a notebook it's normal.
If the CPU goes to high, than it will reduce the processing speed.
If you need a mobile solution for processing than look to a gaming Notebook with improved cooling.
You could reduce you CPU temperature maybe with something like this:

To remove marker projection from the given photo you need to right-click on the projection in the Photo view mode and select Remove Marker option from the context menu.

Import CSV dialog shows only a small part of the input text file for preview purposes. If it is OK for the first ten rows, then you can just proceed further as the rest lines have the same structure.
Yes it is possible, just enter the new coordinates and hit the update button.
The model will only be lost if you then use the optimise function, which changes camera parameters so dense cloud and mesh would need to be generated again.
