General / Is ortophoto in JPG georeferenced?
« on: May 21, 2014, 01:03:23 PM »
I am working on a project where my model is georeferenced with gcps, and I can see that the exported GeoTIFF is georeferenced, BUT will ortophoto in JPG format be georeferenced?

Thanks

General / Possible to cut out objects in 3d model?
« on: April 04, 2014, 12:48:51 AM »
Hello AGI.

I have created a 3d model from aerial photos. Is it possible to remove objects in model in photoscan? For example, if there is a 10 m high pile of gravel, and the diameter of pile is 15 m. Is it possible to just remove it and make it flat like the ground around?

Thanks

Dear Sky_hie,

Currently it is not possible to create and export regular polygonal grid for the model produced by PhotoScan. However, you can export Digital Elevation Model with custom resolution (m/pix) in one of the supported formats: TIFF elevation data, Arc/Info ASCII Grid (*.asc), Based Interleaved (*.bil) or plain text *.XYZ format.

Will try this, thank you :)

General / Easy terrain model
« on: January 24, 2014, 07:54:16 PM »
Hello.

I created a 3d model of the ground with a multicopter, and now I want to make a simple terrain model/TIN model with approx 1 point per square meter. To say it in an other way: make an easy terrain model out of the 3d model.. Can I use the export function and change some parameters? Is it possible to make such a TIN model?

Thanks
