« on: January 30, 2016, 01:32:45 PM »
Hey guys,

Is there someone building photogrammetry based 3D scanners for scanning only the faces? I did a quick google and didn't find much. Anyone?

« on: November 20, 2015, 09:45:47 AM »
Hey guys!

I am looking for 3D scanned models of different characters/people with uniforms. I really don't know how to explain it better...   ;D

Examples would be:
Fireman, pilot, captain, astronaut, soldier etc.

If you have something, please contact me via PM or email timmu.toke@wolfprint3d.com.

Thanks!

Face and Body Scanning / Full body scanner for sale
« on: January 26, 2015, 09:46:48 AM »
Hey guys,

I'm sorry if it sounds like I am trying to use Agisoft forum as a marketplace to make money selling scanners in, but this isn't the case.

We built a full body scanner about 3 months ago, but as our business as changed, we don't really need the scanner anymore. We would like to sell our scanner and get our money back, making a profit isn't a goal right now.

The scanner consists of around 40 Canon 1200D and 10 Canon 1100D cameras. The "package" would include all the electric systems, USB systems, lightning etc. We can also come to your place and build it up for you + offer free consultation to get you started. We also have some experience with starting a "3D minime" business if that's something you want to do.

The equipment is basically new and ready to be used. You can get all the bills that came with the equipment etc.

The price of the scanner depends on your location and some other things.

Here you can find a picture of the scanner:

You can write me if you're interested. My e-mail is timmu@wolfprint3d.ee

Thanks!

Face and Body Scanning / Ready made solutions for full body 3D
« on: November 26, 2014, 12:32:15 AM »
Hey,

I visited Euromold in Frankfurt today and I saw two full body scanners, one has 64 for cameras and other was the artec full body scanner. Are there any other full body photogrammetry 3D scanners out there? I know that Twinkind from Berlin also announced that they will be selling a mobile full body 3D scanner soon...

Thanks!

Face and Body Scanning / Building a 39 camera full body rig
« on: July 24, 2014, 09:04:35 AM »
Hello guys,

We are currently building a 39 camera full body scanner. Setup:
15x  Canon 1100D + random 18-55 lens
24x Canon 1200D + random 18-55 lens
8x 110W softbox lightning
39x triggers (connected)

The cameras are on 10 different stands, 2 of them (front and back) are holding five, most of them four and three are holding only 3. The distance between cameras is 1m.

We are having difficulties in getting a good scan. The program usually tries to make a model of walls, floor etc. When it does a model of a person, it is usually only half of the body or two separate halfs. We had pretty good scans in the beginning when we had only 24 cameras (of half of the person), but after buying more cameras and lightning, we haven't got any satisfying results.

Some questions:
1) Is there a "perfect" focal lenght? Should we take pictures as big as possible or rather zoom the cameras in and try to make 3 pictures (every angle) of different parts + one big "general" picture?
2) Can the light be in different colour? Should we close the window, shut down the room lightning etc? (room lightning is kind of yellow, softboxes are white).
3) Should we keep the cameras seperated evenly or rather create "clusters" of them?

Any tips are welcome, thanks!
