General / New version instructions

There are no manuals, so I have  been going through the tutorials. The problem is that they seem to be for an early version of the software. The workflow tab is very different from my 1.0.4 version. Do I reuse depth maps? What size do I make the cloud?...then what?

General / newbie questions - Chunks

I can't find a detailed description of "chunks". Are this bits that one puts together when making a detailed object (in parts -say a church with sculptures on it -doing each sculpture separately), and/or with photos from different perspectives (say from a top view, then a chunk form a side view)? I am new to this software, but I have used 123 Catch quite a bit. Also is using Photoshop to mask a good idea? ...How Do I import it then?

Hello, I read in the instruction that "Fixed lenses are preferred. If zoom lenses are used - focal length should be set either to maximal or minimal value". "The best choice is 50 mm focal length...Avoid ultra-wide angle".

I am using a Sony DSC-RX100 with a focal length 30 - 108mm. Is 30mm OK (not too wide), or should I set it a bit closer and leave it at that setting for each scan?
