General / Unable to run "Undistort Photos" command
« on: February 24, 2016, 08:13:09 AM »
I'm running version 1.2.3 and when I attempt to undistort photos, I get a "bad cast" error.  I've confirmed that the command works with some DSLR imagery within the same project.  The only difference I can see is that the imagery I want to undistort is greyscale and without EXIF info.  Is EXIF info needed to undistort imagery?  I'm looking to run a comparative densification with SURE and this is what is keeping me from doing so.  Thanks!

General / Error: Can't write points
« on: January 17, 2016, 03:42:56 AM »
I'm running version 1.2.1.  I cant export a dense point cloud on either the Mac or PC version.  I can however export a sparse point cloud.  I have a conference paper due soon and I would hope to get this working soon.  There are a little over 13 million dense points.  All other functions work fine.

General / Is Semi Global Matching being used in algorithm?

I work with some other software that offers SGM-like matching.  Does Photoscan utilize SGM or something similar to SGM?

Feature Requests / Import video

As more UAV platforms collect video, it would efficient to build in a import tool to allow users to extract frames into Agisoft directly.

I have 2 posts so far, I'm wondering why there hasn't been a single reply to either yet...

General / Embedding reprojection error into LAS attribute

Is there a way to embed reprojection error values into a LAS attribute so that those values can be exploited after export?  Is this done already?

General / Aligning Satellite Imagery WV-2, IKONOS and Skybox
« on: August 05, 2014, 12:28:11 AM »
Does anyone have experience with commercial pushbroom/focal plane satellite imagery and PS?  I know that the pushbroom imaging model isn't necessarily easy to work with for reconstruction but I figured a space based focal plane would be easy work.  My IKONOS and WV-2 datasets have multiple images over the same area in the same pass.  My Skybox sequence stares at a single location.  In both instances, the software will report imaging vehicle altitudes much less than what they actually are (with ground control).  Anyone successfuly work with satellite imagery and PS?
