Anyone using a Nikon D5300 with GPS? I am currently using a Sony Nex-5R with 16.1MP, I am looking to upgrade for under $1000. Any recommendations would be great, and would jumping up to 24MP be a big difference?

I cannot import the XML into my standard edition. I get cant import cameras error.

I am wondering what is the BEST computer build for Photoscan.  Lets use 1000 images @ 12mp.

Best CPU or CPUs?
Best GPU or GPUs?
Ram?

and so on...


Currently i am working with over 500 tiff images at 12-24mp and i am trying to figure out what the best computer build for this software would cost.

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew what processes use the GPU, my understanding is the GPU is used during the point cloud step. I have 3 Evgas 780 and I am not seeing any GPU load at all and i have all 3 check under the settings.

I'm working with 3 evga 780 sc axt and my computer freezes up when I run then in SLI mode. I was wondering is it better to run it without SLI? What would give me the best performance?

General / OpenCL Not Showing GPUs

Earlier today I was running a project and my computer ended up crashing when i turned it back on and got back into Photoscan, My GPUs arent showing up anymore.... I cant figure out what went wrong.

I am running on AMD 9590 Processor 8 cores@4.7, 32G of ram and 3 evgas 780 SC AXT on SLI mode.

Need help fixing this issue i have already tried uninstalling and re-installing the software.
