Hi Alexey,

Just wondering if you have found anything out further on this? I have talked to Micasense and they indicated these are their formats of imagery. Also, I did try reading into PIX4D to check, and it reads them correctly from what it seems (as it accounts for the lens offsets).

Hopefully you know something further.

Kevin

Hi Alexey,

I assume they are originals, as I downloaded them from the Micasense website under this link:

http://www.micasense.com/rededge/samples.html

I have an email into them as well to see if this is the standard format.

Hi Alexey,

Yes, i am using 1.2.4 professional. I just sent the images to the support email.

Thanks.

I had a similar question on this as well. We just purchased this sensor, but I can't seem to get Agisoft to bring up the option to "Create multispectral camera from files as bands".

I have a sample dataset (since i don't have the camera yet), and there are 5 images with the same name, but with spectral band as the suffix in tiff format (ie. img_0554_480.tif, img_0554_560.tif,...). When I add photos as in the help for this, I assume there should be the option to "create multispectral cameras from files as bands" but this never comes up. It just loads the images as 5 separate images.

Am i missing something??

I just tried again, and i am still getting the same error.

HI Alexey,

I will give it a try on some other datasets since the upload is complete on sketchfab but still no texture.

In the two datasets I was trying, I couldn't determine from the info what parameters were used for the texture for some reason. The texture appears in the view, but wasn't in the info.

I did however recreate the texture as an Orthophote with 4192*4192 texture size, and tried to reupload and the texture still does not come across.

Is there a way to upload the texture with the 3D model when exporting directly from Agisoft to Sketchfab??

So I don't seem to get the out of memory error now, but then i get other errors.

I have finally gotten to the upload stage, and it goes thru the upload process, then get the attached error with the details here:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Error><Code>XAmzContentSHA256Mismatch</Code><Message>The provided 'x-amz-content-sha256' header does not match what was computed.</Message><ClientComputedContentSHA256>2664c0769026fb06606e7429b4016e15d5e0b3bd6573bf6b54a992c0782c6441</ClientComputedContentSHA256><S3ComputedContentSHA256>9629a7f40d2ff4032da027bc06a687a595a955c9a3fc7ee92e18b70cfa6f16fb</S3ComputedContentSHA256><RequestId>A936C3C52C7CBBB5</RequestId><HostId>y+j5ekqofajWj4iakUNjCbqumj260+XIdwQI0t8TuRnGAtGoS5yRrNOgaItPJArgQV7YftE4qwU=</HostId></Error>

Attached is a screenshot of a stockpile i was trying to determine a volume of, along with the measure report.

I created a dense cloud, then a DEM from it (with interpolation on), and then created the polygon around the pile. Many of the nodes show a zero elevation for some reason.

I also created contours on the DEM, and they look fine.

I have tried it on a number of different projects as well, and will more often than not see the zero elevation for many of the nodes.

I tried this as well, and I don't get the SSL error anymore, but now i just get an Out of Memory error when trying to upload.

Any ideas?

I am having problems with the Measure Shape tools on a DEM. I have a stockpile that i drew a shape around, and used the measure shape command, and the volumes are out to lunch.

However, it seems to be with how the polygon is created. I picked points with the polygon tool, on areas entirely withing the DEM, but when you perform "measure shape", on the planar tab has many of the polygon nodes with an elevation of 0.

It seems like when picking points of the polygon some elevations are to the DEM, while others are Zero. Anyone else have this issue??

General / Re: Vertical error in DSM to Ground Control
« on: October 14, 2015, 04:03:06 PM »
Hi Alexey,

I used the following settings:

Dense Point Cloud - Medium with moderate depth filtering ( also tried low and high and got same results)
Model - Used height field with dense cloud, with a high face count
Export DEM - exported using as given pizel size values of 0.12m

I tried this in the version 1.1.6 version, as well as the new beta release, and also changed a number of the parameters as above, and it all gave me similar results.

I also tried just exporting the Dense Point Cloud and create a surface in third party software, and it had the same issue. So it seems like it is happening directly from that step.

I wanted to give this one a bump again, since I haven't heard from anyone.

Any ideas??

General / Vertical error in DSM to Ground Control
« on: September 30, 2015, 09:27:30 PM »
We recently processed a site from a UAV, and placed a number of ground targets surveyed with RTK. We held 5 of the 10 points in Agisoft, and left the others as checks. The results from the processing in the Reference pane in Agisoft looked great (attached file Agisoft Errors). We created a DSM and exported as a Geotiff, then started doing further comparisons and noticed a vertical issue.

We determined the elevations of the 10 aerial targets from the exported DSM, and are finding around 5-8 cm in vertical differences from the DSM to our ground targets (attached file Error Check).

I would assume that our resulting DSM should give us close to identical errors as shown in the reference pane in Agisoft? Why would it be different?
