In the new Build DEM function, there is the resolution field that appears to be editable but i can't seem to change it. Three questions on this:

1) How is the default value determined? Is it based on dense cloud quality, image resolution, ???
2) Is this supposed to be an editable field?
3) Will there be a smoothing or simplification function for a DEM?

Also, any chance the display of the coordinate information could also appear when in the model tab as it now does in the Ortho tab?? This would be great.

On more thing. Could you add functionality to the new polygon command in the Ortho editor to draw orthogonal lines? Perhaps when you hold the shift key it will snap to orthogonal?? This would be ideal to generate perfectly square or rectangle clip areas of an DEM or Ortho.

Great work on the updates, this version is fantastic so far!

General / Automatic sub-chunks?
« on: August 04, 2015, 09:48:49 PM »
I have a corridor of UAV images we collected in 2 passes, but it is quite vegetated so it is having issues to align in one shot.

Is there a way that Agisoft can automatically sub-cluster images that align?? I am finding that there may be a section of images that align, but the ones that don't I move to a new chunk and align. Then there is a section of those that align, so i then move the ones that don't to a new chunk and align. Repeat.....

In the end, i may only have about 10 percent of images that don't align, but this is quite a manual process.

There isn't a way to sub-chunk (the technical term!!) groups of images when aligning??

I would to add the same request to add ECW as an orthophoto export option.

Wow, i was scratching my head on that one for a bit, since you used to be able to click with the mouse to edit.

Thanks though, that works!

General / Manually edit image coordinates?
« on: July 28, 2015, 05:55:44 PM »
Is it just me, or can you not manually edit the image location anymore?? Some of my imagery has bogus elevations from GPS at time, so I used to manually edit, but now it doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas?

Feature Requests / Re: Save Job in Batch Processing

+1 on this too. I had posted this under another enhancement request to set the default to unchecked when adding a new task to a batch process for a selection.

General / Manual matching
« on: January 30, 2015, 09:46:30 PM »
Often times I have to manually match images that don't stitch properly, but find it difficult to keep switching between images when placing points.

Any way to get a split screen to see 2 images at once?? It would be easier to find matches between images.

I would like to ask for this very same thing.

Also, any way a batch process could be saved, then reloaded at a later time, even to another project??

Hi Alexey,

You indicate the classifications are accessible by python when building a mesh, but I couldn't figure out how to do this, nor can I find much on classifications in the python manual. This what I have for building a mesh, but now want to only build with ground class.

chunk.buildModel( surface=PhotoScan.HeightField , face_count = PhotoScan.MediumFaceCount )

What would I add??

I am just getting into using the Pro version, and really like the new batch export capabilities for orthos, etc.

In looking at the new beta, it doesn't look like the classify ground function is available in the batch mode, nor is the option to use specific classifications only in the build mesh function.

I was looking at scripting in python, and it looks like the classification can be done this way, but not to limit the build mesh to ground classification only. It doesn't seem to be accessible.

With the datasets I am processing i was really looking for this functionality if there was a way.
