Bug Reports / Re: Can't check the pictures in reference tab
« on: April 20, 2015, 06:04:30 PM »
Hi Alexey,

Belated thanks for your reply!

I did insert input source manually by using markers positioned on a ruler. However I still can't check the pictures (either by clicking right button and then check, or by ticking the square on the left of each picture in the camera tab). Therefore I also can't see the camera error (m)...

It's strange because it was working fine with the previous versions of PhotoScan...

Cheers,
Ant

General / Estimated image quality

Hi there,

Does anyone know what is the unit when we ask Photoscan to calculate the estimated image quality?

What is the principle behind this estimation?

Regards,
Ant

Hi Alexey,

Tx for quick reply and for the info!

Sorry I'm a bit confused about source values. How do I add them?

How can I see the errors (m) for cameras and markers?

Cheers,
Ant

Bug Reports / Can't check the pictures in reference tab
« on: April 02, 2015, 11:10:12 AM »
Hi there,

I've just downloaded PhotoScan Pro 1.1.4 on Windows x64.

After the aligning step, I'm trying to check all my pictures in order to get the total camera error (pix) but it doesn't work.

Same when I position my markers, the software doesn't want to give me the total marker error (m).

Can someone please help me?

Cheers,
Ant

General / Vocabulary questions

Hi there,

I'm quite new on PhotoScan and I was wondering about the two following questions:

- Are the tie points the same as the sparse points?

- When PhotoScan calculates the camera total error (pix) and the marker total error (pix), is the unit pixels? Or meters?

Cheers,
Ant
